Dre was great. Very friendly, asked all the right questions to cut my hair how I wanted, and is genuinely a super friendly person. I don’t live in town, but if I did I’d probably pick Dre as my barber. If you’re in need of one, I’d recommend you do the same!

4 years ago, I moved to Boise to attend BSU. Ever since then, I've had the privilege of getting my haircut from April at Z43. She is excellent. She does a phenomenal job with my hair every time and builds real, lasting connections with each of her clients. Every time I have an appointment with her, I feel valued, respected, and well taken care of. I leave loving my hair and grateful to have caught up with a great friend. As long as she is cutting hair and I am in Boise, I would never consider taking my business anywhere else.

It's a bit hard to find in an old building, but it's a really cool little hole-in-the-wall studio spot. I get my haircuts from Dre Peterson, and he's really great. Friendly attitude, relaxed vibes, yet everything is spotlessly clean despite being in an old building. Dre gives me hot towels after the haircut and beard trim, and nothing ever comes out wonky or weird.

Highly recommend as a queer-positive place to get trimmed up for any gender.

Love this place. Dre does an excellent job and I highly recommend him. I have cowlicks and trouble with my hair and always looks perfect after he is done.

The location is awesome as it is right below the Wild Root restaurant and all the great places to eat and enjoy on that end of 8th street. I just make an outing of getting my haircut.

Had my first appointment with Nikki today and to say I was impressed would be an understatement, she absolutely rocked it. The beard/moustache trim was excellent and she told me everything she was doing before she did it. She did so well on the beard and stache, that I also decided to get a head shave in since she had time before the next client.

Needless to say, I will be back for the hair care, and the gamer conversation.

Husband had an appointment scheduled for today, confirmed booking online a few days prior to appointment as well. Upon getting there today the building was empty, door locked, lights out. Called the phone number and you could hear the phone ringing inside. No communication of needing to reschedule, nothing. Totally bizarre, unfortunately very disappointing as we don’t live close. Online displayed that they are open right now too.

Great barbershop located in downtown Boise. Kind of tricky to find, but once you get there, it's worth it. April does a fantastic job communicating about what she's doing and makes sure I was happy with every step.

Came in for a conference, had no reservation. Z43 got me in and Nikki was AMAZING! The shop was AMAZING! Nikki did everything perfect and the price was more than reasonable. Thank you Z43 and thank you Nikki, my experience was absolutely fantastic!
