I’m visiting Pensacola for the first time in a long time. I haven’t had my hair faded by anybody else in 13 years. I came to VIP barbershop and Michael killed it! He faded my hair so perfectly and was very patient with me. lol I highly recommend him. When you call VIP ask for him. He will do a badass job!

Brought my son to vip barbershop yesterday for a normal haircut we even showed the older gentleman a few pictures of what he was wanting, needless to say we walked out of there and his hair was uneven in the back even his sideburns were completely uneven. I definitely would not go here unless you’re going for the bald look. Very disappointed

Worst barber shop ever! If you are a civilian do not go to VIP Barbershop. They give everyone high and tight military hair cuts regardless of the hair style requested. The barbers are rude and confrontational when you tell them that is not the style of hair cut you want when they are cutting off all of your hair. If you want a military hair cut for $30 then go here, otherwise, go anywhere else in the world for a haircut.

My husband stopped by for a walk-in goatee trim. Despite the long wait, they did a great job! ✂️ One thing to note, though, is that the music was a bit loud ?, as I couldn't hear when we talked over the phone. But I guess they like it that way.

i went into the barber shop and got a haircut by a guy named matias soto-aguilar first of all he was very eager to cut my hair almost as if he wasn’t getting any business. i thought i’d give it a try considering the reviews were pretty good. i thought wrong, this guy was very heavy handed with the clippers and ended up cutting my neck and back of my neck up pretty bad to the point it drew a little bit of blood. he also seemed as if he was intoxicated or under the influence of something constantly dropping his equipment as he was cutting my hair. horrible experience don’t recommend this place or this barber.

Great experience and excellent customer service. Quick wait time for walk-ins an appointments are welcomed. The barbers are professional as well as skillful and they make sure each customer leaves satisfied.There’s complimentary wine, a vending machine, a pool table, darts, and power wheel cars for kids to ride. All of this is what creates an atmosphere that’s top tier. That’s why their name is the VIP Barbershop.

Josh Dees has been cutting my hair for 10 years. There is no barber in the world I would pick over him. I tell him each month he is my therapy and the reason behind much of my confidence. I’ve explored many different cuts and styles and he never turns down the challenge. He always leaves me blown away and happier than when I walked in. Him and his barbers are always making everybody laugh and smile and as a woman, I cannot express how comfortable Josh and VIP have made me feel over the years. From being nervous to cut my hair off at 16 to looking forward to my next appointment - excited for the next fade - this barbershop has been my happy place! This is the perfect spot if you’re considering cutting your hair for the first time… or looking for a barber to meet your expectations. The work ethic, kindness, and compassion from these barbers is unmatched. 10/10.

Mr. J (forgive me Mr J if it's actually Jay or just an initial. I should have asked ‍♀️) was absolutely amazing. He did a great job on my son's hair and faded it perfectly. Surprisingly not a lot of people get it right. So thank you! Also, I got to play darts while my son got his haircut.
