The village has been using SAFEBuilt for the permitting and inspection process. This firm is absolutely horrible! I did a kitchen remodel and I would say I spent more time waiting on inspections. Then when they finally do show up, they inspect things that are not relevant (such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors). Or they will tell you that we didn't complete a previous inspection. Today, the inspection was supposed to happen between 8 and noon today and they were a no show. I've had to skip work for this!!! I wonder why they feel like they can't call to say that they won't be coming or that they are on their way. The village needs to do something about this contract. They are unethical and not at all customer friendly. There are better companies!!!

Who was the moron that that Section 8 in this town was gonna be a good idea. They even park The car dealership Dodge chargers, and challengers right in front of the section 8 housing. Making it just so easy for them

Took the Tiger Cub Den there for a GO-SEE-IT and it was great. The mayor and trustees made this a great experience for the boys. They were able to seat in the Mayor's seat. I would recommend this to all dens coming out of Pack 22 in the future.

Wow more subdivisions and construction coming. This area is done for and will become just like pingree grove and your typical Chicago suburb. Goodbye Hampshire and country charm! Soon Hampshire and Elgin and pingree grove will all be touching, very sad!

Who’s brilliant idea was it to allow an occult satanic palm reader in town Hampshire No dollar general or farming supply stores or gun shop or sporting goods stores but we have a palm reader, nice!

This place is a ghetto for what they charge for rent. The rental manager is rude. People if your thinking about renting here beware.

Sad no Veterans Memorial yet or anything for our troops. This town is sure changing and not even an American flag out in town.
