Urban Hippie has been my salon for over a year now! It’s by far the best nail salon I have been to and the amount of talent in one building is unmatched. Venus cares about her employees and their growth, and it shows! Whole place is super cute and everyone is super friendly. It doesn’t feel like your typical nail salon, it’s more like a family. Jesenia always kills it on my nail art (seriously if you’re into acrylic and nail art hit her up) and I’ve recently started going to her for lash extensions. The amount of compliments I receive on both is unreal. Prices are good, especially for the quality service, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Attached are photos of my services throughout the year to show off the talent <3 I’ll always recommend Jesenia and this salon any chance I get.

I found Urban Hippie almost 3 years ago and I’ll never go anywhere else because Darianne is the best! She keeps a clean, friendly, relaxing and professional waxing space. I’ve also gone with a friend to get her lashes done which was awesome and she’s great at nails! Even though I don’t get my nails done often, next time I do, I’ll definitely be going to Darianne because I know how high her standards are and that she’ll do a great job.

Every person I’ve referred to Urban Hippie has been thrilled. Highly recommend!

Oh also, their cuticle oil is out of this world!

Urban Hippie is like no other nail salon. The esthetics makes the experience. You can’t beat the adorable valour chairs and the copper tubs. I just loved my experience.

I made an appointment with a Rookie and she did a fantastic job!!! I have never had this much fun getting my nails done. The staff create such a positive learning environment for their new hires. The salon feels like one big family there. Highly recommend scheduling with any experience level. Shout out to Norah, I love love love my nails!

Ana is the best! I went in to get a mani/pedi for my brothers wedding. I brought Ana a fabric sample of my dress (pictured left) and asked for something that would go well with it. My expectation was she may find the right shade of pink. Instead, she took the fabric swatch to the back room and matched EACH color of my dress. Even added an accent nail to mimic the pattern. I received so many compliments for my nails. Ana is a true artist! By the way, this photo was taken about two weeks after my manicure. Still looks great!

I truly appreciated her attention to detail and that she would check in after each stage of the manicure to make sure that I liked how it looked. Will 100% be booking another appointment with her. The *only* salon I trust or will recommend. Yes prices can be higher, but you get what you pay for. Higher price = higher quality nails. Venus and her girls are so wonderful. The quality of products used is amazing, especially for me who has an allergic reaction to most primers, and they use the one that gives me the least issues. Woman owned shop, woman operated. When I need my nails done, I drive almost an hour to this shop only!

Owner-business extraordinaire, Venus brought me into the flock (after months of looking for someone who cared about sanitation) and nurtured me with her sweet, ever present interest in anything I was willing to share. She made my nails what they are today. Darianne Haney is now my manicurist and Jesenia Garcia does my toes. Both are perfectionists!! I get compliments on my nails and toes everywhere I go!
