The staff around the store are always so pleasant and kind. However, whenever I go to checkout it’s always the people running the registers that act a type of way whenever I’m there. It’s discouraging, I mainly shop online to avoid the checkout so forgive me if I didn’t know that coupons start at the beginning of a transaction process. The attitude I get isn’t necessary. I always go in looking less than my best but that doesn’t mean I’m not a person still. This is every single time I check out here.

My daughter made an appointment to get my granddaughters haircut, while I was in town and we were enjoying a girls day. The appointment was at 2:40. As we pulled into the parking lot my daughter got a text saying that the appointment before changed what they were doing and needed to push our appointment back until 3:30. We decided to wait and wondered around the store. A few minutes before 3:30, another employee walked up to let her know, it wasn't going to work today as the next appointment was scheduled at 3:45 and they were still with the one prior.

Rather than push or cancel our appointment, they should have told the one prior to us that they did not have time to do what she wanted to change her appointment to or ask us how far out we were to see if we could get in before color started being applied.

We understand scheduling an appointment during "process time" means you might have to wait a little bit. However, to be completely canceled and told the next available is not for 2 weeks during the week and a weekend was even further to "guarantee" the appointment, even though the appointment had been scheduled for almost a week.

Frustrating to say the least and hard to explain to a 5 year old who was finally excited about getting their hair cut they had to wait yet again is difficult. Ruined the rest of our plans for the day.

I booked a freaking haircut appointment 2 weeks ahead of time for my birthday. They just canceled my appointment and when i called to ask why, they are saying the stylist was double booked. Is it my fault that the system let me book an appointment for 11am and the stylist was double booked. My birthday is ruined now, so freaking annoyed. Never stepping in this freaking fairbanks ulta . Sucks big time. The person i talked to had the audacity to tell me she’s free friday 3.30, i can stop by then. I freaking wanted the haircut today karen, for my birthday, if i wanted for friday i would’ve booked for friday.

The young girl working the register tonight lacked professionalism and displayed herself with poor character and attitude. I was unimpressed with what seemed to be highschool drama while on the clock. I believe she needs training and development on representing an Ulta beauty advisor name tag. I left my purchase, as I did not want to continue to checkout and have her as a cashier, after watching her leaving the register to address whatever drama was happening at that time with another group of girls (customers.) I would hope that Chanel is addressed about handling her personal problems after she clocks out.
