Girls weekend getaway. Clean and quiet. So relaxing and fun. Many things to do in one place. But didn't have enough time. Weather was definitely hot but they sure do keep the place cool.

My second visit, and surely not my last.

This time I had the pleasure of having Sheila as my massage therapist for an 80 minute custom massage. I added in a soothing muscle cream and hot stones. Sheila easily found the perfect pressure for my liking and took great pride in ensuring I was relaxed and comfortable throughout the experience. Since moving back to AZ, I've yet to find someone impressive for a regular massage, and while I don't live close to where she works, I will absolutely make it a point to have her provide future services when I return to Ak Chin for a visit.

I've also had a facial and a manicure, and the products used during each service are high quality and smell so amazing.

Thanks again Sheila and staff for a relaxing time.

My facial with Valentina was amazing. I felt relaxed and my skin was so soft when she finished. The atmosphere was serene. Also appreciated Catherine at the front who gave me directions when I was unable to locate the spa.

This place is so overrated! The massage was not worth the price. Not to mention the fact that the masseuse, Monica, kept talking while giving me the massage. I didn’t want to be rude in return and tell her to be quiet as her constant talking was not contributing to helping me relax. I will not be returning.

I definitely had higher expectations for this place considering Harrah’s name was attached to it. They layout is odd. There are multiple buildings. We got stuck in an older hotel building which had external doors and had an empty parking lot behind it. The wife didn’t like that due to security concerns. In the middle of the night you could smell the farming poop since the door wasn’t sealed properly. The food options are ok but nothing special. We wanted to do room service but when you called it no one answered and it said the mailbox was full. The poker room has turned into a smoking area which is a shame. There’s no valet for hotel guest so you have to park and haul your bags. As you can see, it’s lacking in many areas for a Harrah’s casino. It was our first and last time staying at Ak Chin. Lastly, the slots seem pretty “tight”. No one seemed to winning.

Prior to traveling I called about mask policy. Was told kids under five did not have to wear mask so I booked a 5 night stay for my son who has sensory issues and me and my husband. First two days were great we worn our mask at all times and he didnt. On the third day a rude security guard gave me a adult sized mask and said he needed to wear it or we needed to leave. At that point we had been through security check point at least 7 times with no issue. I then asked for a manager and the manager didn't even know the rules and had to call someone. She then said anyone over 12months old was required to wear a mask and it was a local mandate. When i said i looked at all the local mandates prior to traveling in the area and there was none she said this is private property and that if I refused to put my son in a mask(which they didnt even have one that would fit his face) we had 30 minutes to pack and get off the property. So me and my family now had 30 minutes to pack and find somewhere to stay. Was not impressed for the days we were there. Very little parking, no valet had to walk super far to get to room, side doors were closed due to "Covid" so hotel guest had to go through casino to get to room. Kids entertainment arcade area was closed, all restaurants we over crowded with crazy wait times. Will never recommend or stay at any harrahs again.

To start I had a resort room booked already, I simply asked the gal who checked me in who was from CA to see if she could get me closer to the pool, she said ok, but then i get to my room and it is the furthest resort room away from the pool. On top of that it is on the 2nd floor facing away from the pool in a building with a broken elevator.

After that I'm in my room and spend most of Saturday with a maintenance person in a sweltering room because my AC broke.

Dissatisfied and disappointed.

I've brought to the attention of security multiple times that on the first floor of the parking garage, there are 3 or 4 van handicap accessible spots. These spots are horizontal in order for hydraulic vans to park and every time I go , there are 10 to 12 cars with handicap placards parked
Vertically in these spots. There are no vertical lines separating spots. Fix this promblem please, because people who do have handicap hydraulic vans can't park there because they're taken up by vehicles that don't belong there.
