I had a whole group of women coming in to get their nails done as well as my hair, makeup, and nails for my micro-wedding! Everyone enjoyed their individual stylists but I can't say enough about Peyton & Hayley!! Peyton did such an amazing job on my wedding nails and makeup. Hayley did a fantastic job on my hair and it stayed throughout our ceremony and reception/dinner!

Absolutely perfect place for all my beauty needs. Presley has an attention for detail that my nails have desperately needed. Peyton did a wonderful job on my and my daughters highlights. My teenager is so happy with her manicure and is eager to return. I truly appreciate the way my daughter was treated here. Most Beauty technicians do not pay much attention to the amount of quality they put into the job they do for children and teenagers. My daughter has an acute eye for detail and was very pleased with the way she was treated and the quality of the job these girls gave her. Would highly recommend anyone coming here.

I had my wedding makeup and hair done by an artist at this salon. Unfortunately, the artist seemed completely uninterested in being there, was very rude, and the hour I spent getting my hair and makeup done was the worst hour of the day--which is a bummer when I thought this was supposed to be such a special part of the morning. My wedding was on a Monday in March, so I guess I was surprised that the artist was acting like I was a complete waste of her time during what I imagine is a very slow wedding season. I paid her $175 travel fee to go 10 minutes down the road plus several hundred more for my hair/makeup.

Specific feedback below, which I am just copying and pasting from an email I sent in April to the owner. She responded well and kindly (did not offer a partial or full refund, but I said up front I did not want one), so I have waffled on whether to write a review at all, but I don't know- no one deserves to be told on their wedding day they need botox? I'm dumb about makeup but I'm pretty chill and kind, and I wasn't acting like a neurotic bridezilla lunatic (I got married on a tubing hill...).

--I am not really a makeup wearer and do not speak makeup-language. One friend who was there has spent the last decade helping me with makeup, so I was leaning on her to help communicate to the artist what I was looking for. Whenever I asked for my friend's input the artist would get visibly irritated, dismiss her input, and tell me she knew what she was doing.

--I have only worn a very light foundation one other time and was worried about the creasing I saw when I stepped away to use the bathroom, so when I came back I asked if there is anything I could do to keep the creasing at bay. Instead of providing me with a helpful answer she suggested I just get botox. I guess that is meant to be funny, but it's also kind of rude on your wedding day--and also just not helpful to solve the problem I was asking about.

--I also got false lashes (another completely new thing). I asked what I should do if a lash starts to come out and she just said "that won't happen." It did happen, less than an hour after she left, and before I even left for the first look. (I was not messing with them or touching them because I was too paranoid!)

--Also before I left for the first look, my eye makeup was running under my eyes in thick black lines. My friend (who was supposed to be coordinating other stuff) had to come with me in the car to fix the makeup as well as the lash, which we could not fix, on the way there. Luckily I had the most amazing photographer so my eyes look mostly normal in the photos, but... you can definitely tell my lash was messed up. She did mention her makeup is all from Wal-Mart, which showed.

If you are getting married around Winter Park, I recommend working with a salon in Denver. Their travel fees are actually less than the Salon at Winter Park, and it was almost a wash cost-wise--I really wish I had trusted my gut to go with a Denver-based salon.

Also worth noting- the specific artist who did my makeup said she would be taking ownership of this salon in the near future, so... take care! 🙂

Peyton and Presley did an amazing job for my wedding party and I for my February 2024 wedding - they were a joy to work with, were attentive to each person's preferences and every lady left her appointment feeling fabulous and confident for the day. It was evident they were both extremely experienced professionals.
As the bride, I was a bit nervous as I didn't have time to do a trial run of hair or make-up before the big day - Peyton's easy going nature kept me calm throughout the appointment and the final result was even better than I imagined.
