So sad. This is the typical story of a new owner coming in, slashing necessary expenses and running an established business to the ground. We've stayed there before and was very pleased with the experience. Fast forward a few years and we got a whole other experience. First, most importantly, the room hasn't had a proper cleaning in, literally, years. The mirrors had a glaze over them and the room had a musky smell. The couch had tears, so we were afraid to sit on it fearing to tear more. But the only other chair had stains on it, so we didn't sit on it either. The balcony had a dirty ashtray and smelled like stale cigarettes. The bathroom had floor tiles that wasn't glued down. The spa downstairs had paint peeling off the walls. Really, how much does a bucket of paint and some cleaning supplies cost? I truly wish this place was well cared for as I like the building and location.

No faculty on grounds, must call or text if needed.
Arrived and all lights outside & I side lobby were off. Dark and eerie.
Listing said continental breakfast, there is nothing there.
Keys for rooms were left in an envelope of the lobby on desk for tenants, leaving anyone to grab.
Pass code entry to building.

Building is historic and beautiful. Needs a lot of help to maintain.
There are rock blocks on front walkway that are loose. The stairs need more lighteing on backside of building.

The a/c units (we had 2 in our room) were SO LOUD and kept turning on/off through the night.

Shower curtains weren't large enough for the tub, causing a mess we cleaned up after each bath.

Poor lightening in room. One light in bathroom we thought was out, turned out to just be a loose bulb.

The lobby looks like a storage area with items that don't make sense to be there.

Feels like the location is utilized as a VRBO without maintaining the history or happiness of customers.

Owner couldn't even answer simple questions about the area.

All this at almost 200 per night ?

Enjoyed 'the works' in the bath house. The steam cabinet was nice. Very warm, but it's easy to open it for cooling off. The bath is simply a soak in a clawfoot tub. It seemed coolish after the steam cabinet so I just added more hot water. The best part was the massage and clay facemask. Mark was wonderful! My first massage by a male so I was a bit nervous at first. No need for that; his touch was not too forceful at all, and he was very professional. I'd do it again!

I only give it three stars because it is difficult to find a place to park. I would recommend staying at the beautiful hotel and taking the baths. That way you don’t have to hassle with the terrible parking in Eureka Springs.

Nostalgia of a past for the present. Peaceful, quiet, and beautiful for the autumn colors. ? Enjoyed the homey feeling in a small old fashioned hotel setting. Loved and recommend.

I didn’t stay here but I saw the rooms, lobby, and bath house. I had a lovely time. The bathhouse is adorable and old. You won’t get extreme quiet but I kind of thought that contributed to the charm of being in a bath house. You hear people chat and splash while some piano plays.
I got the works package and that included a bath, steam, massage, and clay mask. They found my knots, were professional, all the staff was kind and welcoming.
I think this place gets mixed reviews because people don’t realize they are staying in a middle of nowhere historical hotel that is pretty vacant for parts of the seasons.
If you like old stuff, cool architecture/design, and some excellent walkability, this place is for you.
