My first time here. I found this place because I asked a woman I had seen with fantastic hair where she got her hair done and she told me The Hive. My hair was done by the owner, Kelly. The place is super cute and very clean. She is a very positive person, not sickeningly so, but the kind of positive that makes you want to be more positive. My hair looks great and the price was very reasonable for a cut and color.

We're still dealing with nail/nailbed damages from Kadira's unprofessionalism. We've been with her since she was 3mo post nail school & were some of her "favorite clients.” I never saw this coming, no explanation or anything. We thought she cared for our nails' health and us. She boasts about how she cares for natural nail/nailbed health, but maybe that's just for clients she favors, which also speaks about her lack of integrity and poor business ethics (this seems to be a very common theme in this area?). We've been seeing Kadira Puiu for over a year or so. A day or 2 before my last scheduled appointment, she sends me a text saying she was reflecting on our recent messages and feels she can no longer service me. When I asked why/what happened/I had no idea we even had a problem, she then texts, "This isn't up for discussion." Cool. I was okay though angry with her sudden decision until she also said she wasn't going to service my girls anymore either. I know for a fact that none of us have said or done anything to warrant this cowardice behavior. Since no explanation was given, I think Kadira, like most people here, don't like being called out on their mess so maybe she was still salty about something I said in the past? She has confided in me about her marriage/her relationship with her parents/her family-planning plans, so I thought our relationship was deeper than it was. She even confided in me that she is tired of doing nails, and it showed because she no longer acted as if she cared enough to do amazing artwork: the passion was gone, but we stayed because I felt I could trust her to be honest (nail techs have lied to us about the product used, don't use high-quality products, or use harmful products). She never did bad-looking work and even with her passion lacking in the last 3 appointments, I trusted her more than I would the other/typical nail shops (the foreign candies and alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverages she offered were a plus too‍♀️). She even told me that she is raising her prices because she isn't making any money, and that could be a reason for the decrease in passion/high-quality work. Making enough money to live comfortably is a necessity and no one wants to work for nothing, so I encouraged her to follow her heart/passion (which was not nails, btw). She also bad-mouthed the nail techs at her previous salon Vibar Nails, but then recommended we go back to them. Oh so now they're ok enough for us to go to since you don't need our money anymore, Kadira? I wish I knew hundreds of dollars sooner that she'd do this ? lol geez. FYI: If you pay by credit card, there is a fee attached, a fee she never mentioned, that I happened to notice one day.
