I was able to make a same day appointment. I was in and out of the shop. The environment was very nice and clean. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I came from out of town. I definitely will come back here, the next time I’m in Georgia. I got a silk press done by Shari, it was one of the best silk press I’ve ever had. I have thick, coarse, 4c type hair.

Tia is an amazing hairstylist. She has an awesome personality and takes her time to make sure she gets your hair perfect. My hair styles are always perfect and I never have to wait. She gets me in and out. I typically get the crochet braids, but she does everything from braids, sew ins, silk press, etc..she even offers other services like scalp therapy, permanent brows, etc. Please visit the Healthy Hair Experience and I promise Tia will get you straight no matter what hairstyle you get.

Ladies, when I tell you that Shari did her thing on my hair‍♀️, I seriously mean exactly that… she did her thang. I found the Healthy Hair Experience establishment after entering the words“Hair Salon” in a Google search. I’d just moved to Hampton so I needed to find somewhere to do my natural hair. When The Healthy Hair Experience popped up, I was super elated to see that just 4 minutes from my house was a salon that specialized in doing hair like mine. After reading the reviews, I was even more excited so I called to see if they took walk-ins. I got on the line with Shari who had availability that same afternoon. This was truly a divine appointment because not only did she literally bring my hair back to life, but the conversation we had was so amazing. One would’ve thought I’d known Shari for years the way we were talking it up. The Lord is so good I tell ya. Anywho, it’s 5 days since getting my hair deep conditioned, steamed, and silk pressed and my hair still feels silky smooth and looks just as shiny and as flowy as it did when I left the shop. I wrap it each night and when I take off the scarf it just falls right into place. I’m so incredibly pleased with my experience at Shari’s shop and this has officially become my new healthy hair home. Shari is stuck with me. ? Thanks so much for hooking me up! You’ll be seeing me soon ma’am!

See photos taken at the salon on 1/18/24 and photos of me 5 days after (wearing the holiday pajamas). Also note, I have not put any product in my hair at all aside from what Shari put in it on 1/18/24. I haven’t need d to add anything at all which is amazing to me.

Angie is terrible she rushed through my whole head. Came in for a trim and box braids. I enjoyed the service but the box braids did not last at all. Haven’t even been a week and some braids already are coming apart. I payed $110 and I even left a tip. Didn’t want to say I didn’t like the work while I was there because I don’t like conflict with women. I just left with a smile. But I promise I will not be returning. I have my fiance redoing my hair now. Smh they are a SCAM

I got my daughter’s hair pressed for graduation. This was our first visit to the healthy hair experience. The atmosphere is very clean and stylish. The vibe is welcoming and warm. Our stylist was Shari and she is wonderful. She’s very personable, detailed and took time to educate me on my daughter’s hair and how to maintain it. We will definitely be coming back.
