The lady's that work here are very friendly. This tends to be a very popular location between 430-600pm. Beds are cleaned after every use. There is red-light therapy available. Tanners have no fear, the bulbs are spot on and will cook you if not careful.

I Absolutely Love tanning here. Everyone that works in the North Pole location are genuinely kind and always ask me how my visit was. I have been tanning for years and they have the Best quality beds and a beautiful clean environment and I always have a Great experience with the results I’m looking for!

I LOVE this salon! I’ve had memberships here of all levels on & off for the last 3-4 years & I’ve always been able to make friends with the girls who rotated through! The girls always recognize me after 2-3 days of coming in & then every time after that making me feel very welcome in the business! I will ALWAYS come here for all my tans!!

For those who want a quality tan at an affordable price, this is not the place. The beds are older, and the bulbs are not changed on a regular basis. They claim to have a bulb order on the way, but they say that all the time. Beach House Tanning is not what it used to be. There are higher quality tanning salons within 15 minutes, and the price is comparable if not cheaper. So do yourself and your wallet a favor and find a better tan at a better tanning salon.

Let me add to this. My wife recently canceled her membership because of the conditions I mentioned in the above review. My wife was tired of paying for a tan and not getting results. She was the one asking about the bulb changes and getting the run around. She went to a tanning salon in Fairbanks, and in one session, she was darker than 4 to 5 sessions at The Beach House salon. The results don't lie. My review still stands as it is. There're better salons in town for the money.

Likes: I love the friendliness of the employees here. I never feel unwelcome. I also like the options for packages, or even just the drop in fees, feel very affordable, seriously. The first time I came in I guessed I would see crazy prices, just do a drop in and not come back, but they really do have as many options as you need and I bought a monthly package. It feels really clean in each room and in the restroom.

Dislikes: I am used to salons having a radio in each booth, but I guess the silence while tanning has been therapeutic, and sometimes I wear my own earbuds. I miss hooks on the walls to hang my clothes and things. The doors/locks need to be updated, but not a big deal.

The Beach House is absolutely amazing and so professional! All the girls do their best to learn everyone's name and can carry on conversations about their lives. I personally have had such a fun time speaking with the manager, Erika. I think she does a great job managing both salons. I couldn't say enough nice things about them. Highly recommend to anyone looking to catch a tan.

During the pandemic beach house tanning posted that tans would be extended during the pandemic. They did not specify which people’s tans but stated “session packages would be extended when we re-open.” June of 2020 I went in as I had a gift card that I needed to use and asked when my previous tans would expire. I was told by the employee June of 2021. Since I am an essential worker, I don't always have childcare, tanning wasn’t a priority, I thought I had tell June 2021. I go back in, Jan/Feb 2021 and wanted to use the bed I had previously used, but was told those tans were not on my package. I had her double check and she said they expired in Dec 2020. I asked If they did extensions and she said I would have to talk to a manager. I talked to a manager and they offered me to buy back my tans for half price (already paid full price for these) and they would expire in 90 days. I would have spent almost $100 on tans I had already paid for. I decided not to spend any more money at beach house. I would not recommend.
