If you’re looking for a quick, but good haircut, Stay Golden Barber Studio is the place to go. Kayleen did a great job at cutting my hair, especially compared to other barbers I’ve been to in Alaska. She cut my hair EXACTLY how I asked, which no one else has done before. She even recommended products to make the curls in my hair look better and not so frizzy. I definitely will be returning here.

Walking in I was welcomed right away and cozy in a nicely decorated atmosphere with good music, products to view and books while waiting. -- Needed a trim for my awkward-stage pigtail earlets and wanted a fade and I was absolutely taken care of. Super happy with the results, really made my weekend. The sign inside about barbers being a lowkey therapist is totally on point 🙂

Booking an appointment online was a seamless process. Upon arriving I was promptly greeted by the owner and was on my way out the door in 15 minutes. By far the quickest fade I’ve ever gotten. The owner was very friendly and had good conversation. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by here and getting a quality cut!

I took my 4 year old son to get a haircut here and the owner was the one that did it and she was fantastic! It was the first time he didn’t cry or freak out from a haircut and she was so fast and did such a great job on the cut itself! I’m very impressed. Plus my son loved looking at the dogs she had with her and I think that helped distract him in the best way. Thank you Stay Golden for a great haircut and great experience!

It's rare to be impressed by a business twice. I went here a year ago and went again recently to have my twice yearly haircut and beard trim. The gal working, I think her name was Taylor (I'm so sorry if I have the wrong name) did a great job. I had a trim, shaved and waxed some places and did a great job. I was also very impressed how she treated my son and cut his hair. It was his first time going to get his haircut anywhere and was scared. She made him feel good and did a fantastic job with him. We'll definitely be back again. I highly recommend Stay Golden Barber.

My husband goes here and we also bring our kiddos. We get a clean fantastic haircut every time and she is great with our youngest who is not a fan of haircuts apparently. We won’t go anywhere else for a cut as we cannot find anyone who gets a great cut EVERY time!! 10/10 recommend!!
