In from out of state for a wedding. Spent a good deal of time yesterday trying to find a salon in Cottonwood that was open on Saturdays. Another salon suggested trying this one. Axrelio did a great job on my hair working to minimize the frizz I have around my face. He is very friendly and we had a great conversation. He managed to fit in my sister for an updo, also. He did a great job on her, too! He also does make-up. I wish I would have scheduled him for that, also, but he was already booked up.

Sam listened carefully to what I wanted, and we had a lengthy conversation about how the photos I liked would work with my unruly waves and my hair goal: gorgeous, no-muss, no-fuss locks... easy peasy, right?! ? Well, she cautioned me on certain things, I listened, and together we came up with a plan. And ... voila! Easy peasy gorgeous hair is what I got!

I asked for a certain cut, but got something totally different!!! My hair has been long all my life(down to my butt) only, just because I never trusted anyone cutting my hair. The one Time I did, and it confirmed my greatest fear! ?
I even shown her (the sylalist/owner) a pic from her own website of the haircut I wanted, what I got was a nightmare!! Not only was she a hair dresser, but after she cut my hair she informed me she was the owner and just sold the solon, and she was moving. ? For the last 3 months sucked!!! I don't miss my hair, but I wish I would have went to Walmart! They probably would have given me what I wanted. Also, I paid 65.00 for the cut and I gave her a 15.00 dollar tip! ?BTW, she never let me see the back! I wanted a "bob" what I got in the back was basically a shag? the front and sides looked fine, I went home and looked at the back I almost cried!!!
I wish I could post pics of what I asked for Vs what I got! It's ridiculous! Thank Gawd I I can use a curling iron, but that was what I was trying to avoid! BTW, THIS WAS THE END OF JUNE AND IM STILL PISSED OFF!

Jenny was absolutely amazing! She came in on a Saturday morning to give me a haircut on my only day available. She helped me keep much more length than I thought was possible while also giving me a very healthy cut! My hair hasn’t felt this good in years, especially almost a week later!! She also referred me and introduced me to another stylist because she will no longer be at this salon when I come back from a trim. Amazing customer service, amazing people!! Happy to have a salon I can trust!

Moon at Salon Starradora completely transformed my hair for the better! I am African-American with thick 4c hair and was struggling to find a stylist I could trust while also not having much success with self-maintenance, despite many hours of research and dozens of products. Moon took the time to come up with a great treatment plan for a wash and go and THEN went above and beyond to find the right products and style when I decided I wanted to go back to straightening. Thanks to Moon, my hair is absolutely gorgeous and even more healthy than when I first started seeing her 6 months ago. I feel so grateful to have a true professional to take care of my hair needs.

Had an appointment with Jenny Weaver for the first time. She came in on her day off while on vacation to take care of me as I had a big event coming up. I showed her pictures of what I wanted for my cut and color and she NAILED IT!!! Came out even way better than I anticipated. She's super nice, reasonably priced (especially considering the level of her work) and ultra accommodating. Will definitely be returning as well as referring friends and family!

I was visiting from out of town and called me back - the only salon who responded to my call. Jenn accommodated my schedule and got me in for a cut and blow dry. She did a great job.
