Vince and his wonderful assistant Kylee gave me the hair of my dreams! Vince is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and he listens to exactly what the client wants and checks in with them throughout the process. On top of turning me into a BLONDE DREAM, the entire experience was also incredibly emotionally healing after experiencing a traumatic hair experience at another salon a couple of months ago. I TRUST Vince and Kylee, and when it comes to my hair, that is no small feat as I have hair trauma dating back to early childhood... I will be seeing Vince for my hair for the rest of my life, regardless of where my life/career takes me. He is THAT good. If you are lucky enough to sit in his chair, you are going to leave with a deep appreciation of the mastery he has for his craft...and you'll look like a million bucks.

My last experience with getting my eyebrows done was so bad that I hadn’t touch my eyebrows in almost two years. Then I started looking through the app Square Go, and found brow tint services, looked through reviews and everything, got in contact with them and asked to see some of their work. The WHOLE time they were so nice, understood my concerns and I felt a lot more at ease. The person that worked on my eyebrows was Angela, I got the signature brow service, and have already gotten it twice. I don’t regret anything, made me feel more confident and I’m still scheduling with her once a month! 12/10 !!?

I have been getting my brows done here for the last year, and now have been getting my hair done here for most of the time as well. The attention to detail for every service is AMAZING. You leave the salon feeling like the best version of yourself every time. Vincent is absolutely incredible, and has helped me transform my hair into something I didn’t even know was possible! This is the best beauty and self care salon/spa in Fairbanks. Any beauty service you desire, you can find at Self Care Collective and you will be soooo satisfied with how high quality your service is. The aesthetic of the salon is so cute and clean.
The salon and the services offered are up to date and modern to what you can find in the lower48, which is so rare to find in our small town in the middle of Alaska. They often post that they travel out of state for training and certificates which is amazing because it allows us guys and gals in Fairbanks to get the best of the newest beauty services.
I have gotten my hair done by Vince for so many different hair colors and styles and his expertise in hair shows in his work. He is so kind and takes great pride in his work and makes sure that you are being taken care of and that you’re relaxing. (Attached are some after shots of what Vince has done for me!)
I’ve also gotten my eyebrows waxed by Angela and a lash lift from her and it was such a fun experience. Her work is amazing and I am so excited to make future eyebrow appointments with her!

I am moving from Fairbanks to the lower 48 the SelfCare Collective is one thing I will not be able to replace. I would not get my lashes done anywhere else in Fairbanks. The lashes are beautiful and hold well. Tiffany is a beautiful person and easy to talk to. I have been seeing Tiffany for 5 years and feel sad to leave our relationship . The experience is truly spa worthy. Get your lashes done by Tiffany or Asia, hair by Vincent the team is awesome. Take time to take care of yourself!
