Sarah! I've been having massages consistently at Second Day for over a year and will only book with Sarah. She is experienced (over 16 years), educated on anatomy, and attentive to specific needs. She begins each session asking if there are any issues or spots to focus on. She is able to pinpoint a knot and over the course of time get blood flowing to the areas that need loosening. She will chat if you choose to but she will also quietly put you into a trance whereby you drool before you realize how relaxed your body has become. She is strong and able to apply the pressure requested. I am a full fledged addict.

The facility is clean and welcoming. An atmosphere of respite is evident from the moment you enter the spa. Smooth background music, a relaxation room before a session provides quiet serenity surrounded by smells that open the senses. If you become a regular, ask about the buy five sessions get a sixth free offer.

A recent review from a one time client made some negative comments which compelled me to share my experiences. Read all the other reviews and perhaps take into account that those of us repeat customers are aware that self care is a commitment to time and resources. There are many options in the world, even the AV. This is a higher class of service and entirely professional with privacy and has been in business for decades.

Good luck booking with Sarah, she is quite in demand and I often have to book weeks in advance to find an opening as I prefer the longer sessions to get into a full body melt.

So I have been here to Second Wind many times over the years. I didn’t start going consistently until I met Sarah. She is the best in the valley. She’s quiet unless you engage her in conversation . She knows her stuff! She is in tune with your body’s needs. She can tell when my week has been rough. She concentrates on the areas that need extra that day . Her “pressure gage “ is spot on. I even got my daughter , who likes a deep massage , in to see her and my daughter loved the massage. For our birthday, Mother’s Day or any gift holiday we ask for a massage with Sarah ! Her more than 15 years in one spa tells you how professional, capable and fabulous she is ! Thank you Second wind for treating your staff well and keeping this gem around !

Staff is very polite and accommodating. Facility is very clean and decorated in a way that makes you feel relaxed as you walk in the door. I got a full body massage with Dorothy, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously experienced in her work. Dorothy seemed to genuinely love her job, and her calm energy only added to the relaxing experience. I walked out feeling amazing and will definitely be back.

I have been going to Sarah for numerous years . Her massage technique is amazing . She always asks what is sore prior to each appointment and adjusts her massage accordingly. She is warm friendly and so is all of the staff . I feel Sarah truly cares about my health and wellbeing .Her knowledge of anatomy is superb . This a wonderful and relaxing place to go . I read the review by Rhea Martinez and I respectfully completely differ in my opinion of Second Wind and Sarah.

My first massage with Eileen was wonderful but then it was downhill since. My latest massage, she simply pushed on my back. When I went to pay, I told the front desk how disappointed I was and they just said sorry and asked for my payment. I was in shock at the apathy considering the cost. They made no attempt to right things. Then last week I decided to try one more time for their Stress Free week special and no one returned my call. I get a lot of massages and so I’m taking my business elsewhere.

I came in on Sept. 28th , and I had a full body deep tissue massage for one hour. I had an amazing experience, with Dorthoy. She did such a wonderful job! She was professional, kind, and efficient. I had very intense back and neck pain. After, my massage there has been a huge difference. I can barely feel that pain now. I will definitely be coming in more regularly. ?

I recently had a massage with Sarah, and I’m deeply disappointed with the experience, especially given the high cost. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. Both Sarah and the receptionist seemed disinterested, almost as if they hated their jobs. There was no warm greeting or attempt to create a relaxing environment, which really set a negative tone.

During the massage, I felt rushed, and Sarah’s energy was anything but calming. Instead of feeling rejuvenated, I left with more tension and body aches than when I arrived. For such an expensive service, I expected professionalism and care, but unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience. Small gestures and a more positive attitude would make such a difference, but as it stands, I would not recommend booking with Sarah if you’re looking for a truly relaxing experience.

Tom is a Master of his Craft:

There are almost an endless number of "crafts," which individuals endeavor to perfect. Everyone's "perfection" is always different from another's perception.

Tom has created "perfection" within his skills as a massage therapist. He checked in to ensure every kind of pressure, from deep tissue to a more gentle touch, was to my liking.

During the massage, I focus intentionally upon every sensation of the human touch, while simultaneously incorporating a connection with my spiritual being. Tom's massage enabled me to connect the two.

What occurs, if one's intention is to focus on such, is the sensation of enlightenment, wisdom, and caring, that simultaneously ignites the connection between my human self and my ethereal being.

Is that even possible? It was with my massage experience with Tom, who devotes himself to creating such an experience.

I said to Deborah, (the lovely individual at the front desk), afterward how deep my voice had become after the massage, which is proof positive of the depth of my massage.

It was Heavenly...
