This was an amazing barber shop experience for both of my boys. They’re 12 and 11, and this is the first time that a barber/salon has listened to them, checked in with them, and given them the haircuts that THEY wanted. We’ve already scheduled follow-up appointments!

I had a great experience at Saltys, it was my 1st time to a barber in 15 years. Told Chris about my bad hair cut I got when I was a teen. He made sure I was comfortable and pick the perfect hair cut for me. He is really good with the straight razor shave. The hot towel on face before shave feels amazing. Great guy to talk to and you can watch TV while you get a hair cut. I'll be going back.

I had a great experience at Saltys American Barber Shop. Let’s start with environment, just a great feel when you walk in. It’s a smaller shop but that’s what I like a small shop small town feel. Then there’s the cut, I wasn’t entirely sure why I wanted but after seeing the other 3 people who went ahead of me I wasn’t worried at all. I thought about going short but Chris convinced me otherwise. Talk about a great barber who knows how to make ya look your best. He gave me a gentleman’s cut and I think it came out damn good! Conversation was awesome very down to earth man. Very respectful, prior service coast guard. I will always support local business as well as veteran owned local business. He was walk-in only get folks in and out quick but without any lack in quality. Overall 5 out of 5 experience. Thank you Chris for the great cut and you service to our country!

Came into town from Phoenix and needed a haircut. I lived in Prescott three years ago and had been to all the gimmick barbershops, long standing barbershops, and the ones in between. All could NOT do a mid/low taper to save their life. As someone from the valley it’s a way of life. He made sure to give me the exact haircut I wanted, and perfected it. I was blown away. Dude can cut & fade with the best all day
