I have curly fine hair which blows out easy if you use the right brush and technique. After 4 years of searching for a stylist I've found my artist ?‍♀️

When she has not been available, we have seen Jill and she does an awesome job as well. I definitely recommend going to Salon Retreat. I have been going to Angela to get my hair done for 2 years and she kills it every time ! Always very kind and walks me through my indecisiveness. I have went to someone else twice when she was busy, and both times I was in her chair within a week getting it fixed. She has done such a good job that my friends and family (even my overly picky dad) has started coming to her. She truly knocks in out of the park every time !

Horrible. Worst place I've been to.
Went tonight. I opted for no shampoo prior to the cut so the stylist could see how my natural hair was for the cut I wanted. She first spent 10 mins cutting and then started to scrunch my straight hair as the style. I told her it didn't look like it had been cut, I couldn't see if it was even and the ends looked frizzy because she scrunched it. So I combed it out and I asked her to do more of an angle like the picture I had shown. She went on to tell me how I would not get that style without product and curling, I had to explain to her that I know that but I have straight hair and you can't scrunch it I need to see if it's even. She was not happy about cutting it more. Then it was uneven in the back and she explained that it depends on how my hair laid. So we got another opinion and they saw what I was talking about so she fixed it. I ended up liking my haircut after my three corrections and thankfully I was comfortable to speak up. But I don't think that for $45, It should be a quick cut and a scrunch and then resistance to what the customer wants. Every other stylist I've been to, you pay for them to style it afterwards, And they are usually very happy that you point out imperfections so they can make it right. And certainly try to style it for you since that's what you're paying for. I've never felt like I had to debate my way to what I want with a stylist before, it was very uncomfortable.

next day update ,my hair looks unhealthy at the ends. She did some shaving thing that has my ends feeling horrible. It's like I didn't get a cut and my hair looks thin and frizzy at the ends. Don't recommend Jill at this place at all.

Wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Joanna was so wonderful with options and suggestions working with my ideas. And the outcome was so much better than I imagined. And upkeep will be a lot easier. She will give you tips to help you once you get home. And that help so much. Amazing Salon. A Must for any Hair/Beauty needs.?‍♀️
