I have been going to R&R for 14 years and I will never go anywhere else! Dana D has been dyeing & cutting my hair, my sisters hair, & my mom’s hair and we LOVE her! She is so kind, always remembers us and asks us about what’s going on with everyone in the family, and does a great job with our hair. I don’t trust anyone else.

Dana has helped me transition from magenta hair back to my natural dirty blonde, with care and precision, despite some of the pink not budging.

Can’t forget Brittany, who always has the BEST attitude, careful while washing hair, and remembers little details from the last time I was in.

I love R&R, Dana, & Brittany! I moved from the area and travel 30 min just to get my hair done.

The salon itself is pretty and front desk/girls that shampoo you are great. But, had a pretty bad experience with Dana and definitely won’t be coming back to this salon in general. She was irritated from the moment I sat down which made the whole experience start off on a not great note. When I showed her what I wanted which wasn’t anything crazy she managed to give me uneven bangs for my haircut and now I have to pay to go to a different hairdresser to fix it. She also complained about how I was a few minutes late and that she couldn’t be bothered to dry my wet hair (when I called ahead of time letting them know I would be 5 minutes late just to ensure it was OK or if I needed to reschedule…) so it just felt unnecessarily rude to me how she acted and I’ve never been so unhappy with a hairdresser or haircut in my life.

I take my son here to get his haircuts. Eileen does a great job keeping his quaff in check. My son likes her and doesn’t want to go anywhere else to get his cuts.

We love the Downers Grove Rocco and Rocco, the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Dominick remembers our sons name and is so friendly every time we go. Eileen has been cutting our little guys hair since he was 18 months old. She does an amazing job and is so patient with him! All the local family feels at this place! Great for your kiddos and adults!

Great caring staff. JC was fantastic. Did a great job on my hair and very personable. Johanna was the nicest shampoo girl you will ever meet. Will definitely come back to them!

BEWARE OF BRANDY!!!! Wow. Horrible. At first we were greeted with a nice lady at the front. But my brother's haircut was terrible! I paid and left and called for a manager since I didn't want to cause a scene... and the manager insisted for me to come back to "make things right." It turned into the manager and hairstylists making fun of my brother and explaining the "art of cutting hair" to dummies. They acted as if I was lying and they did a superb job. This was simply not true. Employees all gathered around to watch and all were laughing at the situation. My brother is embarrassed of his haircut and we will never be returning back. So sad because we've heard great things but we had a terrible experience. I tried reasoning but the hairstylist stormed away and the manager told us to leave and that we were "wasting his time" when he wasted ours! Cocky, rude, and entitled would be this salon. If you want to be laughed at by the teen hair washers and watch your hairstylist throw a temper tantrum.... this is your place!! Also manager’s pants are too tight.
