I had been searching for a new barber for almost two years now after my previous barber retired. I wanted something close to home and also good quality. For my birthday I asked my wife for a haircut. She does not cut hair, however, I asked her if she could find something, schedule it, and surprise me.

My main goal was if, or when, I was disappointed, I had someone to blame. After receiving my haircut from Rachel, I was not disappointed. She took the time to make sure she was able to cut my hair how I wanted and have it look good.

I also loved how it’s a small local shop with a real personal feel. Rachel was very attentive and personable. I am a happy customer and I will most likely return again and again. I may also owe my wife some credit for finding Rachel.

Finally, another major win is that it’s right next door to the ice cream parlor.

Rae is an amazing barber! I moved in October of 2020 and after a couple of disappointing experiences elsewhere, I found Rae. She is super nice, awesome conversationist, and really knows how to take care of a customer. Great with beards too!

Absolutely the best hair cutting/styling experience I’ve ever had. I needed a last minute cut/style for a wedding and Rae’s was recommended to me, I had no idea that a barber shop could be for women’s hair too. Not to mention it cost way less then any beauty salon I’ve ever been too.
