Pawlished pups is the best place in town for your dog grooming needs. I have been coming to see Heidi for years and she’s always done an excellent job! Even my 4 pound mini Yorkshire feels calm and safe there. And look he feel fabulous 🙂 He’s so happy! #handsomeguy #thattongue

Heidi is the BEST groomer around Motown. She has been grooming our girls since 2016-17. Her shop is clean, dog friendly & she’s very professional. Our girls are so excited to see her & she absolutely loves them.

I took my (newly adopted) 1 year old Golden Doodle to Pawlished Paws yesterday. I understood they felt she needed to be shaved down due to some matting. However, I was surprised by the price- $130. $30 more than others charge for the same service. I went ahead because I had an appointment and felt it would be rude to walk away. I was told it would be four hours. I got a call after two hours saying the dog got too nervous of the dryer and there was nothing more they could do. I understand that. No one wants to over traumatize an animal. When I picked her up she was patchy so the cut hadn’t been finished (they were going to finish her after the bath), her nails were as long as when I dropped her off (nails were part of the price) because they were going to finish the nails after the bath. I understand all the reasons why I got back a partially finished dog- I just don’t understand why I still had to pay $130 for a job half done. Heidi is an absolute dog whisperer and top tier stylist. All of my dogs have been difficult in some fashion, from a crabby lab who rolled in everything and always smelled awful to a fluffy diva who wore at least four coats of fur at all times and needed all sorts of hair work to our new girl who came from a shelter and has not gained her confidence yet.
Today was the latter's first spa day and she came back happy, soft and shiny, adorably bandana-ed, beautifully manicured, and pleasantly fragrant.

All of my dogs have loved Heidi and her calm, gentle ministrations. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Pawlished Pups is an exceptionally great place to take your pup for a groom. We are seeing Heidi for 7 years already and were so happy when she opened up her own salon about 3 years ago.
Our Shihpoo Finn loves her and gets excited when we see her. He always looks so cute and the groom is ALWAYS professional. Heidi (☆and her staff too) is awesome with her furry clients and the environment of the salon is so inviting. Highly recommend!

What a great place! New to Palmer Lake and read the wonderful reviews. We took our 1 1/2 year old English Cream Retreiver / Doodle in for a full groom and couldn’t be happier! Super friendly staff and owner Heidi were so welcoming and knowledgeable. Our girl RaLu is super clean and happy!

Missy and Heidi both do a spectacular job! My dog always comes home so beautiful! They truly care about the dogs and people they serve and it shows. I have been going to them since my dog was a puppy - five years. I would recommend them to anyone!
