My son went to this facility as it was the only one available. It was a drive for us. I could not get a release date until two days prior to his release which I was fine with because I just wanted him to be better. Within two days I was able to see a change in him. I hadn’t seen him so happy in a long long time - years. He said the food wasn’t very good but he ate well. I loved the staff (except one which quit after I made a complaint). My son is transgender and they dealt with this wonderfully. They kept him in a room by himself because of his sexuality. We had a lot of communication back and forth about my sons care. He can be very negative and say he never learns anything but actually admits quickly that he learned a lot like how to cope. My son went in because of his cutting, suicidal thoughts and depression. He came out such a great kid. I really appreciate everything they did. A few of the mentionable people that really left a positive impact to me was Norman (he was by far the easiest to speak to and the most helpful), Selma, Beverly and June (I believe this was her name). There were others that I didn’t catch their names. I can not say how amazing this place has been for us.

The most unprofessional medical office I've ever been to. After 3 weeks, the doctor has not signed off on my paperwork that I informed them I needed when making the appointment. When I call, nobody is willing to help figure out why there's been such a delay. The doctor also wouldn't take the time to listen to my concerns before prescribing medication I've had issues with in the past. Had she listened, she would know I wasn't even there for prescription management. But now thanks to this office, I have to wait until they finish my paperwork to get the actual medication I need from my pcp.

Awful place my daughter was there for 7 days. She never received a hot meal they were all cold. She said there were roaches and spiders everywhere. She fell in the shower. We reported it to the nurse, the nurse said she was fine,no injuries. Well three days later when we brought her home she was complaining of her rest. So we took her to the emergency room and they said it wasn't broke but there was and injury. They with held her meds for days. Meds that your not supposed to skip days with. They will not allow you to check the place out before admitting your child. Very bad place we reported them to Dfsc. And we are contacting a lawyer. I'm talking about Hopes Corner for children.

I wish I could give this a zero star rating. I went here once for 3 days, and again this February as a 17 year old. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. I was here for 10 days. Throughout this time, the doctor didnt communicate with me at ALL,the therapist said I was making all my problems up,and I witnessed verbal abuse from staff. Do NOT send your child here, even as a last resort. The only positive experience of this was a few kindhearted staff, and a man named Norman, who you could tell genuinely cared.

There needs to be more transparency between providers and the family of the children in Hopes Corner. This place seems really sketchy and prison like. They give these children all types of medicines and shots. My child was too drowsy to talk when i went to visit. I went here a few times and each time I got a bad feeling about this place. I can't wait for my baby to come home! Im going to show up every visiting hour .. I do not trust them

Had to do court ordered anger management, I thought I could just go in and start classes so was somewhat annoyed I had to see their doctor first. I still don't really understand why that's a requirement but whatever, got past that and started the classes, I actually enjoyed them! Also Everytime I checked in for a class the two women at desk are a joy, always have a smile and a minute to small talk.
