I had a wonderful experience with Nurse Practitioner Shyma at Optimal Healing Center of Connecticut! She is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to ensure that I was properly informed on the services I received. I immediately felt at ease and confident in knowing that I was receiving expert medical advice and attention. I was also impressed with the staff members of this office. This place is definitely a hidden gem. I was skeptical at 1st because I never heard of Optimal Healing Center and not enough info on it but I gave it a try and I LOVE my experiences. Shyma is very motivating and positive. She actually listens to your concerns and doesn't rush to give you a generic answer either.. she is real as it gets. Her treatment worked and happy with my results. Less than 3 month I grew more hair than I ever did in years in my trouble areas. She also does so much more. I will definitely go back to her for more services and will highly recommend everyone to her.

I can honestly say that this provider is one of the most caring, dedicated practioners I have ever trusted my health with. I presented to her with a complicated issue of which she spent a generous amount of her time investigating. She went above and beyond my expectations and pulled through for me when everyone else before her failed. Shyma is an amazing provider! She is extremely knowledgeable I’m so many areas of medicine. What an amazing experience. From my first visit until now, I have been welcomed with positive energy and respect from all staff members. I went for a weight loss package, which the results are amazing. I started at 188lbs and I am currently 164 lbs. I’ve also gone for Waxing and other services. This place is a one stop shop which will take care of all of your cosmetic needs, as well and your primary needs. I can’t recommend this place enough. Dr. Andrews is AWESOME!

Shyma is a great doctor. I love how honest she is with me as a patient. She's helped me to understand my health better. Very happy I found her through zocdoc. Haven't been to a doctor in a while,  and wanted to make sure my health was in tact after no longer smoking. Today's visit for my follow up bloodwork was completely opposite of what I thought it would've been.(all good news)

Not to mention the 2 receptionist up front are always very pleasant and helpful!!

Happily going to keep her as my doctor for as long as I can.

The APRN, Shyma was extremely thorough and did not rush my visit! Very rare you get this with with your care provider! Love the decor of her office, but more importantly love the fact that she should a general sense of care which many providers lack today.
