I have used the salon in Snellville a couple of times for braids and I didn’t have problems. However, I chose to get a weave on 7/10/24 , I booked again at snellville but at the last minute was told that Maria could not do my sew in and that some at the Norcross location would have to do it because the person ahead of me at Snellville didn’t bring hair for their sew in and timing got set back. So I drove to Norcross from snell and the lady Bibi was finishing someone’s hair and I had to wait an hour. I finally sat in the chair, before she put in my cornrows she did not come my hair gently… I had already blow dried it and combed through it and she was using this fine tooth comb and my hair only does well with wide tooth- I could hear and feel my hair popping/ snapping. Mind you they tell you not to put any moisturizer in your hair before you comb so my hair was dry. When Bibi cornrowed my hair she was going across my hair tightened up my cornrows with thread I guess to bring the back one together,,, however it made things feel super tight. Finally she installed the weave and left leave out as requested but my hair didn’t blend well so they allowed me to come back to norcross at 8am but bibi didn’t get there till 9:30am — she said there was mis communication time. So I went back to get the leave out covered as much as possible and she was looking at me with an attitude saying so what do you want me to now , I mean this is not my fault. So I just kindly asked her if she could cover the leave out a little more.so she had an attitude and just started stitching tracks in my hair forcefully. All throughout the time I had the weave in my hair I could not get any air to my scalp I couldn’t even feel water getting to scalp when I tried to rinse salt water from being in the water on vacation. On 7/19/24 I took out the top part of the weave and it took me 4 HOURS because she stitched the thread in so many different directions.. she used so much thread and tripple notted thread end of the weft to the base of my cornrows! Then I went to my sister yesterday to get the rest taken down and she head to use the flash light on her phone to make sure she was cutting thread and not my hair. While my sister was taking out the weave and said never go back to that salon they don’t know what the heck their doing. My sister said this lady has sown tracks on top of each other and has thread sown in in different directions. When we finally got all on the weave out my sister noticed that she braided the ends of my front cornrows somehow looped in my back cornrows and had stitched thread AGAIN in my cornrows… it took my sister 4 hours to take down everything and she said I’m glad you came to me to take it out because if you would have gone back to her or left this weave in long it would would have been supper matted and probably would’ve lost some of your hair and that’s how girls loose their hair from getting weaves . Overall from getting the weave to taking it down was horrible and this was my first time getting a weave. Never again! I can’t even use the tracks again because there all damaged, very nice hair that was expensive… money just gone down the drain.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this salon for years, but my recent experience left me very disappointed. When I arrived for my 8am appointment, the salon had no heat on, despite the temperature being below freezing outside.

The color I wanted for my boho braids—copper/auburn—was unavailable, and the only options were brown or burgundy, which I declined. I settled on blonde (#27), only to find out they didn’t even have that color in the curly hair for boho braids. After a lot of back-and-forth, the stylist had to leave to buy the hair, which took over an hour.

To make matters worse, I was informed that my hair required an additional 2 inches of length, and I was charged an extra $80 for that, despite no prior mention of this.

When the owner asked the stylist to drive to a beauty store for the hair, this caused a delay of almost 2 hours in my appointment. The owner called to apologize, but no compensation was offered for my time or inconvenience.

I’ve always been happy with this salon in the past, but this experience was a huge letdown. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend them after this.

Yesterday, I walked into the shop and everyone was so kind, welcoming and inviting. I made an appointment for my daughter for today at 3:00 with the beautiful lady with short blonde curls. Demi and Stephanie took great care of my child today. Demi washed her hair and conditioned it before she & Stephanie braided it. My daughter was tired and kept falling asleep, so Stephanie gave my daughter her phone to watch Netflix while they braided her hair. They never acted like she was a problem even though I was so embarrassed that she kept falling asleep. The atmosphere was very professional and her hair is beautiful. Nia Soule Salon you have gained 2 more clients. Thanks for your hospitality & great service. We will definitely be back soon.

I got my hair done in goddess braids mid back length and paid $450. my hair was tangled and matted 3 days later. They used the cheapest and worst quality hair possible. I called them within 5 days. They promised that they would redo the braids. They did not follow through on they promise. I was stuck with matted braids and out of $450. If I could I would have given a one star.

I’ve been a faithful customer over the last 5 years because they are phenomenal stylists, which is why my rating is 3 stars today . However today, my stylist today took 9 and a half hours as she was not feeling well and needed extensive breaks. I understand not feeling well on the job so I am not rating on that. However, no other stylists wanted to assist her in helping to finish my hair, although they knew she did not feel well after the fourth break. At one point, a stylist went to assist as a second aide for a client who came in FIVE hours after me. I don’t see the logic in not helping getting the longest client out the door to free up a seat. There wasn’t even any compensation taken off my total. My hair looks amazing however for the price I paid and long-standing with the company, I wish there was more concern in making things right. Hopefully, this review can help change the policy for future situations because 9 going on 10 hours is restless and I actually do love their company.

The pictures say enough, got braids on Tuesday and the back braids are frizzy by Saturday. You did not use enough hair. My stylist Mai retired so I had to settle for someone else. I would have walked out but my hair had to be done as I needed to be on a plane the next morning. Ran out of purple hair, did not use blue hair correctly, did not follow instructions after being told 5 times. Changed my appt. Time, cost, and stylist 3 hours before appt.I will not be back.

Just had my daughter’s hair done (box braids) for the second time at this salon. Mia started right on time and was finished in 3 1/2 hours (including a wash & condition). Everyone was very friendly. The shop was clean & comfortable for waiting. My daughter (5) said it didn’t hurt at all. We love her braids! Nikki did her hair the first time we went and also did a beautiful job. We’ll definitely be back!
