I’m giving this mediocre stars because it’s a really nice campground and really nice view of the canal. However I had reserved the tiki Bar in the back of the campground for a celebration of life, I’ve called three times and talked to several different people. Confirming on how many new people will be there and what I can or cannot bring and when I get there, the bartenders had nothing but attitude, and it just talked a bunch of shit about other things and during your presentation The bartenders did not stop talking and someone had to tell them to please be quiet so it just was not the best experience for the day.

Update: I did speak to the manager and he was sincere however we did tip the bar tenders generously and they were still rude.

We are annual visitors and love having sites with water access. Very crowded on Holiday weekends. The breakfast on the weekends are great. Bar gets a little loud, but very nice staff.

Rvsite prices change everything you call them. Pricing should be posted under the rates tab on their website. It's not posted and is not consistent.

Although we were surprised by how many long-term campers, and besides the fact that our site was wedged between two long-term campers on a corner, we liked the place. We looked at some others, and they had no trees. The pool, clubhouse and showers and the boat dock where you can rent pontoon boats, canoes and kayaks, were all within a short walking distance. The management keeps the place very clean and the common areas are well-groomed. We had our dog, so it was nice to see so many other dog-owners. We would stay there again. Unfortunately, we weren't there when the marina bar was serving food, or we might have partaken of that. Also, we were close enough to the grocery store and several good restaurants that made the location very desirable. And my husband caught some nice fish from the dock!

We stayed in a cabin. It was very clean and had all necessary linens, dishes, and cooking utensils. The cabin was 1 bedroom with a full kitchen. There was a small kitchen table, couch, chairs, and a TV with cable. A nice desk with chairs to sit outside and enjoy the evening air. We were close to the marina which had live music and great food. There is a pool, laundry facility, and community center that serves breakfast. Yummy! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our neighbors were great. The price was reasonable for our accommodations. There were several state parks in the area to visit and explore. In fact, the campground has lake access which allows for fishing and boating. The location is close to town but you will never know it. They have fun activities for those that would like to join in. We unfortunately missed the rubber duck races!! Tampa/Clearwater/St Petersburg is an easy drive for a day trip. Spots fill up fast as they have short term and long term rentals. We loved our stay and will be back!!

The cabin was by the river, close to the marina. Lots of friendly people. Room was comfortable and clean. The beauty of nature is the key attraction of the park. The marina bar had live entertainment and a good hamburger. The weekend breakfast is a great value too.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful people. The manager Mike is nice and he has so many nice food and activities going on. 400 sites seems big, but the way it is layed out, you do not get that parking lot feeling because the sites are on twist and turns streets in different directions. Fun place, definately will go back.

As a full RV campground with some cabins available overall this is a great place to winter over. Very tight spaces, limit your ability to open up outdoor canopies and offer tight sitting areas. Some finishing spots in the lagoon area and easy access to open water. Nice pool and clubhouse as well as a very nice restaurant in the park. Overall it is very nice but extremely packed.
