I was new to the area and had an event to attend, so I decided to try this salon on November 21st because it was nearby. My friend and I called ahead for quotes and made appointments together, as they offered a 15% discount for groups. My friend opted for a manicure, while I chose Gel X.

When we arrived, we checked in and informed them about a website promotion, which they said would be applied at the end of the payment.

The atmosphere was inviting, they played music and had native shows being played on some of the TVs, and the owner (male) with super white veneers seemed friendly. He tried to educate the customers about the product being used.

Unfortunately, while my friend was getting the manicure, the tech attempted to charge for gel, which was unexpected. Based on our earlier conversation, we had already confirmed the price, so my friend said if the price is not being honored I don't need the service. After a brief discussion in their native language among the staff, they assured that the original price would stand, and they proceeded.

They offered my friend a list of drinks, and my friend chose some wine. I didn't realize there were drink options available when I was asked, so I opted for water.

My nail stylist was Amanda, who was introduced as a Gel X specialist. However, there was a language barrier, and Lena, along with another technician, helped translate for me. I chose Gel X because my nails had thinned out from previous acrylic and dip treatments, and I was working on regrowing healthy nails. I requested to have my nails buffed without any drills, but the technicians insisted that it wouldn’t work and that the nails wouldn’t stay. I knew it was possible since I had experienced it before, so I stood firm on my choice.

Unfortunately, when Amanda matched my nails with the tips, they didn't fit properly, and some ended up crooked. I brought this to Amanda's attention multiple times with the help of the translator, but she kept saying she would fix it later. When she was about to apply the gel, I had to stop her because my nails weren’t how I wanted them, and she hadn’t fully addressed my concerns. She then commented that my fingers were too big and assured me that the gel would correct the issue.

I started to feel anxious and irritated. After the gel was applied, I was unhappy with the outcome. Most of my nails were uneven and not completely covered. When Amanda was about to drill, I told her to take the gel off because I felt unheard and frustrated. Lena then stepped in and sculpted the gel to fit my nails properly, shaping and fixing them. After ensuring that my nails were safe and fully covered with gel, she drilled to remove any excess and achieve the right shape.

I believe the results would have been better if I had started with Lena from the beginning, but she did her best to make my nails as even as possible.

In the end, I learned that when you know what you want, it’s important to be firm and direct. I would consider giving them a second chance, but next time I would go directly to Lena.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great clean new salon. Will be coming here from now on! Melissa did my nails and she was attentive and listened to what I wanted. After she was done and she went home ( it was after close ) I was waiting for my sister to finish we noticed the gold nail had a weird green tint to it. So Amanda who did my sisters nails filed it off and redid it with the regular gold and really made me feel like they cared about my nails looking good and that I liked them. Both artists are great!

I booked an appointment with Amanda for today and I am extremely happy with my services. The salon is clean, upscale, with a very welcoming environment. During my service I was educated on nail health which I loved. I rebooked my next appointment before leaving! She shaped my nails perfectly and the polish was very clean. 10/10

Not worth the price.

The salon is nice and the pedicure was lovely.

Unfortunately the nail tech I had left me disappointed. I went in for an acrylic fill in, the tech used builder gel with our asking, costing $20 more than I was expecting. She didn't shape my nails at all, and the polish is extremely sloppy, there's extra polish all around my nail bed and finger tips. Not worth $65

The new salon is extremely nice, and I was excited to know that there is now a salon in this area. I went in on Tuesday, 17 December 2024. I requested a fill-in. The tech did a gel product fill-in instead of acrylic without asking me prior. The polish used was gooey, but I wanted to trust the process. I was billed $70, extremely expensive for a fill-in due to the tech using a different product. Today is Friday, 20 December 2024 and the attached picture are my nails currently. The polish is peeling already. I was so hopeful, but I will not return.

This new place is very beautiful! They have lots of beautiful colors to choose from and they do regular nail polish!
The chairs are brand new and comes with a charger for your phone (must have the special case though). They offer complimentary beverages such as water and Coke.

It's a bit pricey but they are worth it.

My first experience with this salon was disappointing due to some miscommunication and mishandling. I sent photos of a Gel-X set I wanted and was quoted $80 by Amanda before booking an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I called to see if Amanda could take me earlier, only to find out she had gone home sick and my appointment wasn’t on the books, which is why I hadn’t been notified. While disappointing, I rebooked for the next day and was told I’d be contacted if Amanda wasn’t available.

The next day, I received a message saying Amanda was still out, but another tech, Heather, could do a less intricate design. I agreed to come in, and Heather was very sweet and worked on the set I had originally sent photos of. However, at checkout, I was charged $145 instead of the quoted $80. When I explained the discrepancy, I was told the price could only be reduced if the nail details were removed. Not wanting to cause a scene, I paid the total and tipped Heather 20%.

The next day, the salon reached out to apologize for the mishandling. They explained that I should have been given a price upfront at the salon to avoid surprises. They offered a partial refund and to fix some small issues with my set, which I appreciated. I plan to return after my vacation to see Amanda and give the salon another chance, as I understand mistakes happen. Thank you for reaching out and working to make things right!
