I'm not even giving this 1 star, but I had to select 1 star to make this post.I fully explained to Amanda I wanted to keep my sides and back full and to just scissor cut the ends, KEEP the length, make it neat and clean it up. I had just grown my hair out to where it touched the ears and the back just layed over my collar and that's the way I want to keep it, just clean it up with the scissors, not any more.. My head now looks like a Q-tip with very short tapered sides and back, like a military cut, which I also specifically said I don't want. My hair is ruined and again I must wait it out till it gets longer and find a place where they understand, " Scissor cut it, keep the length, and keep it full all around" Anybody know of such a place? Not this shop.

I love this place and been getting my haircut done by Miss Diana (which is the owner)for may years now and always a great job and she aims to please. If Diana is not available, I usually go to Chris and he is an awesome dude always does an awesome job for me and will do anything to do an amazing job! Most the time you need an appointment because they usually are pretty booked, but they do their best to take care of walk-ins too! Definitely recommend this barber shop and the awesome people that work there!!!

Since moving to Florida six years ago I have been struggling to find someone who can cut my sons hair decently. He has an odd shaped head. We decided to try My Neighborhood barber. Well it was a success! Chis has now been cutting my sons hair for about a year and has been doing great with him and his haircuts. Chris is professional and focused each time he cuts my young sons hair.
We will gladly keep returning!

The Best environment in Fleming Island to get a haircut. My Grandkids love Chris, he’s very patient and professional with them. All the other Barbers are a joy to be around. Always smiles and laughs when I go there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
