Marathon Cuts! Followed her from the previous spot and really appreciate the new shop. The place is reasonably priced, super clean and professional and Marion is still a top notch barber with excellent skills and good chair-side manner. Other barbers appear to know their stuff too, bet you can't go wrong with anyone there (but Marion is the best!). JP

Marathon cuts is the best barbershop in town!! Marion is an expert at cutting curly hair and is very personable and fun to talk to and always my go to barber for many years. The barbers in the shop always keep their stations clean and I never have to worry about them using dirty clippers. The atmosphere in the shop feels like I’m going to get a great haircut every time. Also, the hot towel is a big bonus that nobody really does anymore.

Marion has been my husband’s barber for years and Marathon just recently brought her in to work at this shop. Wise move on their part. Marion is fast, efficient, talented, friendly, and knowledgeable. You won’t find a barber more consistent, or one able to produce better results, regardless of what you’re looking for. My husband recently had some major health issues that led to major surgeries that left him with scars. Some of those scars are on his head and neck and require special care when using razors around those areas. Think raised scars and mole like nodules that get caught in razors and cause cuts. She has never even nicked him, which is a big deal for us due to the risk for infection that would pose for him.

Bottom line, come on down to Marathon, call them, what ever method you choose to get in touch with them, use it. Ask for an appointment with Marion, or, if you usually use another barber and you can’t get in when it’s convenient for you, have them check Marion’s schedule. I have every confidence that you will be pleasantly surprised.

I’m new to Marathon but not new to getting dialed in cuts from Marion. The shop is clean, filled with friendly banter and good tunes. It’s always a pleasure to chat it up with Marion. Whether it’s just the same cut or trying something new she’s up for it and follows through to the details. If you’re looking for consistent cuts, at a fair price and in a clean shop look no further.

Our barber, Marion Oliveras, recently moved to Marathon Cuts. I made an appointment online, through Booksy, and went in on Saturday to get my haircut. It was a great experience. The shop was clean, gets great natural light, and had good music. Big sports theme! I met Rene, the owner. Great guy!

Cutting my hair is a challenge. As I've aged, I've developed a cowlick in the back right corner of my crown. We've just been cutting it short all over, but decided to try something new. We're letting the top grow out for a more contemporary look, and a fade that starts above the cowlick. Marion did a masterful job. I love it!
