Let me start by saying Yvonne saved my hair, I've been growing my hair out for about two and a half years now and in that time the wonderful couple that owned the salon I had gone to for years retired. So I tried a new place that had good reviews but the first visit they absolutely botched what should have been a simple maintenance trim. So I looked up highly rated local salons and Kristin Karl Salon was the first one on the list, after seeing the great reviews I figured I'd give it a shot. Well I couldn't be more satisfied to be honest, my hair needs to grow a lot to get to where it was but Yvonne did a great job evening out the length and making it look presentable again and I can't thank her enough for that peace of mind. Not only will I be coming back but as of now Kristin Karl Salon is my permanent salon choice.

If you’re looking for a forever salon and you’ve never been to Kristin Carl, you should definitely give them a try! The shop is centrally located right off of Jonesboro Road in McDonald. It’s stylist and clean! Everyone in there made me feel welcome and not to mention…. Yvonne did wonders on my hair today! She did a color correction and a cut! I’m in love!! ? This was my first time there but won’t be the last!

I absolutely love this place. Wendy is amazing when it comes to cutting hair and coloring it (especially funky styles). Tiffany is also a great hair stylist,. The staff here is amazing! Let me not forget James, the best shampoo/massage person you could ever ask for to wash your hair.

I must be the only one not happy with this place. I went the first time after the pandemic. Highlights and cut, it was ok. I am usually easy to please, and I said, that’s what I got. The second time I went, I showed her a picture, and exactly explained what I wanted. That is not what I got. I had to make her cut my hair shorter in the back, and she also charged me $30 more then the last time. There were very few more highlights then before, but $30? I gave her a tip, even though I wasn’t happy. I am 72 yrs old, but I don’t want a haircut, that beauticians feel I should have as age appropriate. I want to look hip. So, now here I am looking for another beauty shop, I need a cut.

Becca is my stylist that I've seen so far, she listened and did a wonderful job. I'm most excited at how she treated my daughter, she is 8 and Sara was so excited about her haircut and style..she really loved getting her hair washed! Thanks Becca you totally deserve this 5 star rating!

I've been here twice to have a color, cut, style done by KAYLEE... She is awesome and talented! The salon has a fantastic environment. The staff works together and is so friendly to customers. I saw many different hair types receiving hair care. I was so impressed with the versatility of the talent and open arms of all types of people seen there. If there was world peace in the south, in a hair salon, it is definitely here.
#sidenote: The coffee options were a surprise(had more than one flavor). That's always a plus...
In closing: I'll be going there from now on and I recommend anyone to get their hair done at Kristin Karl. #beautifulhairpositiveatmosphere

A little over a year ago I left my hairdresser of 15 years, so I was extremely nervous to try someone new! Some of my coworkers recommended Kristen Karl. When I called Tiffany answered the phone and made an appointment for my mom and myself. I’ve been seeing Tiffany for over a year now and I absolutely love my hair! I have tried various shades/cuts and she always does exactly what I ask for. Tiffany will offer suggestions and provide input on how my hair will respond to certain cuts (I have thick hair and not all styles work out like I have it pictured in my head ?)
I even stated taking my EXTREMLY picky son who hates all hair cuts. He now request her and refuses to see anyone else. We moved 45 min away and we still make the trip for our hair appointments! Highly recommend her for all you hair needs!
