I've Been going to Twisted Scissors for years now & have sent several family members & friends there. All of which are still getting their hair done at this salon. I found Kim when a previous stylist totally botched my highlights. Sections of my hair were damaged & breaking from the bleach. The pics are what my hair looks like now. It wasn't a onetime in the chair salon fix.
Anyone in their right mind should know that if you continue to put bleach on top of already damaged hair, it will just cause more damage. I am extremely picky about my hair & my stylist. She told me what needed to be done to get the look I wanted & I took her advice. By the way I'm glad I did, my hair looks Amazing! I am a one hairstylist type of girl, so when I found Kim, it was a done deal. Not only is she a phenomenal beautician but the salon is uniquely designed, which I personally love, & the staff are very professional & friendly.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I was there for a color & cut on Tuesday. I was previously there in February or March of this year but couldn’t remember who did my hair. (She did a great job whoever she was) but I was told I was no where in the system. I desperately needed my hair done and Debra said she would do my hair. The color is fine. The cut is horrible! Quite possibly one of the worst cuts I’ve had. I asked for medium length layers. I always tell people I have curly/wavy hair. I knew when she kept cutting and said “wow you really have wavy hair, it’s just not blending well” something was wrong. She continue to try and “blend” my hair for a while after it was dry. She just blow dryed my hair and put product in it, never styled it or even offered before I left. You can clearly see each layer and where it lays. The left side is layerd differently than the right. It looks so damaged. There was so much product in my hair that when I lift some of my hair, it would stay in place. When I went home my husband asked me “I thought you went and got your hair done” I shouldn’t have felt the way I did leaving a salon after paying $200. I also reached out to the FB prior to posting and got no response other than the automated response. That was 4 days ago. I wish the pictures did the justice

If you go to this place it's magical! Everyone is so nice! My stylist is Nisha she is wonderful! She did a color melt a pixie cut and a blowout shampoo and it was wonderful!! Will be going there again!

First time going for both my daughter and myself. My daughter had previously had an unfortunate experience and needed color correction as well as damaged ends cut and freshened up. My only complaints about her hair is it turned out much darker than the photo we showed and a nice conditioning treatment (even if an extra charge) would have been very helpful.
My experience was another story. I have had blonde hair with both highlights and lowlights for many years. I needed my hair color freshened up as it had been longer than normal since my last hair treatment and a haircut. I brought pictures of my own hair to show the style I wanted it shaped back into and the and photos of very similar color and style to my own. There was no room for confusion on what I wanted and since I have had that cut and color for years it wasn’t an unrealistic expectation. I walked out as a dark brunette with very few highlights and NO HAIRCUT. When the stylist turned me around to the mirror and asked what I thought, all I could say was “My hair doesn’t even grow out of my head this dark”. Her response was “The good news is your grays are covered” ( I had expressed covering up the gray hair right around my temples growing in) I was speechless.

My first time here but will definitely be going back. My hair needed a lot of help and Kat was amazing. She is very sweet and really knows highlighting/color. I absolutely Love my hair color now. Very happy with my results!!

We just love Debra! She has gone out of her way for my daughter and I several times. She is professional and kind. She does beautiful work. She helped my daughter last minute prepare for a pageant interview, she walked out looking so good. She even won the best interview award.

Nice place, good stylist and owner. Just need to find some type of rugs to stop the echo of how loud the place is when your in there. To loud. So many people chatting loudly to one another that you cannot even hear the stylist who is doing your hair. Lovely clean place, accommodating. Let's work on the noise though. I come to relax and enjoy my time while getting a cut and color.

Orange hair don’t care…… went for blonde left with orange. They were supposed to fix it but canceled my appt and did not reschedule. I paid $150 to have orange hair and I could’ve gotten better results out of a $10 box of haircolor.
