I wanted to give this place a 2nd chance since we were walkins.
I went in to price out the blow out only, no flat iron .
Lady states starting at $60 but depending on length and thickness maybe more .
Hello we are in the salon already just state the exact prices.
The game is they jump up the Price at checkout. This place is sooo unprofessional.
Look at this child’s hair, photo below and give me the price. So , after all that bs we just walked out and refuse to come back.
I have a stylist who can do this in Middletown
and the price is clear and all is transparent. That’s where I will go

First, I have to say after reading previous reviews I was nervous but then I said just go for it for my daughter, which is six years old and mixed with extremely Curly thick hair! I called and talked to Jo the owner! She explains to me the process that she would do with the detangling and everything else and even said she would talk to my daughter Which I thought was very special and thoughtful of her. About 1 hour later I decided just to drive to the salon, knowing they were gonna close earlier because it was Father’s Day. We went in met Jo And she told me that she would go ahead and start the process of the kindly straightened. I was the one nervous, not my daughter. She took great care of her and her team. My daughter, extremely happy and loved her new look And so do I, which will save me so much time every day! I just want to thank you so much to you, Jo !!!! You’re going to make my life a little easier in the morning time! I do recommend this place and the pricing is what is the service you get! I will do it again when I have to! And by the way, thank you for staying open pass the time and I’m sorry about that! Very professional service and very clean atmosphere

Giving 2 stars simply because I’m not new to the blow out game. I’ve been getting my hair straightened by Dominicans for a very long time. Before Jo opened up this new salon I went to Jo’s in New castle. I always only get a wash and blow out and there I pay about $80. When I asked how much it would be at the middle town location it was $157. Never in my life have I ever paid that amount of money to get a blow out. I’m extremely upset. My hair was not nappy, tangled. I did not receive a deep condition or anything that should have doubled the price. I will not be back to this location. Not to mention the girl who did my hair didn’t even know the price she had to ask someone else. I’m convinced they make up prices as they go.

Jo did an excellent job on my full color today. She is always professional and never fails me! I wish her continued success with her business.
Guess what!!! I returned the same day before the salon closed to get my granddaughter, London’s hair shampooed, deep conditioned and blow dry. She loved it and once again, Jo did a fabulous job!! Gracias!!!!

My hair looks great! Shop is clean my only complaint is the price. They say $65 for wash blow dry and curl but charged me $95 saying something about the length of my hair. My hair is literally shoulder length!

$120!!! Is crazy after being quoted $60. This is what happens when you ignore the reviews. Yes, I added deep conditioning, trim and a net cap which was offered but never thought that it would double the price. I doubt that I’d go back. The staff were very nice, the stylist had experience and the location was good. But my advice would be to inform customers throughout the experience of the additional fees and consider consistent affordable pricing because $120 for a blowout is insane.

I have been there once for myself and twice for another family member. they did a decent job for my granddaughter, which was a wash and blowout. mine not so much. both of us have soft naturally curly hair.
there is a true lack of transparency on pricing.
also while they are working on your hair, they don’t allow you to see the mirror and turn you around.
Who does that?
every time you go there it’s a different price which leads me to believe that they are ripping you off and/ or taking advantage of customers. why not have a pricelist posted ?
I have not retuned.
fortunately, I found a very good salon since relocating that is truly professional, Customer service is good and the quality of the work is great. it’s a win-win.
