The place has a nice atmosphere for sure when you walk in. Very well kept! However, the charging of prices is ridiculous here. The say a haircut is $25 but, if you pay by card it goes to $35. No credit card company charges over 20% fees. Then, if you have to get cash, they conveniently have an ATM there that they make a kick back on, as well. Owner was not very friendly and I understand if he was having a bad day. I sat and listened to him berate a customer on the phone because he was late and going to charge him a late fee. I would use caution if you are thinking about going and know all the details up front about charges and being late. I don't carry cash so I was taken back about the fees

Wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! I've been going to Bob and his staff for over 3 years now! I have never once had a bad experience! Now like myself, Bob is a pretty busy guy, but they have an easy and convenient website to book your appointments ahead of time. If you are like me and forget to plan ahead on occasion they also have daily appointments available and take walk-ins! Whether it's Bob or one of his other barbers you will definitely be in great hands. Thank you J+B Studio!

My wife took our grandson for a haircut. Everyone was so wonderful to our grandson who has sensory issues. He has had a couple different haircuts. This by far has been the best in the way he was treated was phenomenal by everyone and Bob the barber. They also welcomed for us to come back anytime which we appreciated that. Bob is amazing! He cuts my husband’s and 1-year-old son’s hair too. He has so much patience with children and does a great job! My son sat so well today, and his haircut looks great.

I recently moved to the area with my wife and had been shopping in the area for a place to get my haircut. A coworker had suggested to me J+B Studio and had said they were great. I checked them out and saw they had positive reviews. I had been going there since but have had 2 bad experiences with my haircut at Glen. The first time was one side of my head had been shaved down more so than the other for a fade and was quite noticeable. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept going. And for the most part had been happy with my haircuts. Though today I went in after work for a 5:30 pm appointment and left happy with my haircut till I saw in the mirror that she had shaved down a portion by my ear and had tried to even it out. Didn’t mention anything about the mistake and charged me regular prices (and the time before as well). And I tip every time because I know it can be hard in today economy. But the lack of honesty and the fact it has happened twice shows a lack accountability. The staff has been nice and welcoming every time I come in but the fact I have to worry about something happening is too much of a risk. I’m sad to say this will be my last time in and that I’ll be looking for another salon.

After typing the previous review, Bob had contacted me the next day and had apologized for the incident and offered to have me come in at any time to fix my hair. He fit me in quickly when I was able to come in. He fixed the unevenness and then some. Greatly appreciated!

I got my hair cut here last week and my experience really bothered me and after sharing it with others i now know it was not right or normal.
i have been going to great clips for years getting subpar haircuts and they keep raising their prices so i decided i will try a real salon for my first time. i was excited and nervous but i booked online and went.
the girl who cut my hair was in her pajamas, slippers, and a bonnet. not dressed for work at all. i’m a girl, i convinced myself that i get it maybe she was just not feeling it but i know even when im not feeling it that would be unacceptable at work. then she cut my hair sitting down on a stool? never happened at great clips, very weird. we discussed taking off an inch, she showed me how much that would be, but i think sitting down messed with that because my hair is now at my shoulders. then she trimmed my bangs. we finished up, it was my time to go pay and i get up to the counter and the girl tells me $30 then the stylist comes running up and goes “it’s actually 35”
she didn’t wash my hair, she didn’t blow dry or style it. she cut “one inch” and trimmed my bangs. i still tipped $10 on top of this, spent $45 for a girl in her pajamas to trim my hair on a stool.
this has ruined salons for me and i will just be going back to great clips for now on.

We went here for my sons first haircut and it was a great experience. We will definitely be back. Everyone was so amiable and we didn't have to wait long and the haircut looks great. They cut my husband’s hair too and it’s probably the best haircut he has gotten in the last 4 years.
