I have 4 women in my household and they all have different hair styles that need their own special attention. They always come home happy after visiting Jazzin it up Salon. They have 8 or more spacious stations, each with a new comfy chair. 4 washing stations and 5 sit down dryers in a separate room with mood lighting and soft music. There is nice artwork all around the salon. They serve water, coffee, sodas, juices and even wine.
There is also a separate stylist room with 2 chairs for those times a little privacy is needed. The front room at the entrance has enough couches and space to spread out while you wait.
Being in between Ladera Heights and Baldwin Hills means it's right in the center of West LA and is easy to get to from anywhere.

My family was on vacation and my daughter wanted to dye her hair brown. We spent 7 hours of our last whole day at the salon mostly waiting for her to get done with numerous other people. By the time we knew it was all bad, it was too late to just leave with our hair bleached or unwashed. She said we were going to be twins with a golden brown hair or light brown and our hair turned out yellow and orange. She told me she had been doing hair for 9 years. She brushed my hair waaay too hard and rough where my head was jerking and I believe she messed up our hair on purpose. She seemed nice in the beginning but her work is horrible! You can't see it in the picture, but I am bright yellow and orange and so is my daughter. She charged us $190 each after messing up our hair and spending hours and hours there. She tried to play it off like it looked good on me but I have dark tan skin so yellow and orange makes me look weird. Don't spend your money or time here.

Love Chyann she is such a great stylist she works with what you have on your head and enhances it. I truly appreciate her skills and makes me feel confident everytime I leave her chair. All the stylist in this salon have great growing hands. You can book my stylist on booksy and once you pay your deposit you pay the rest in cash.

Maleea is a great cosmetologist. I have worked with her over the years transitioning through diverse conditions. She has helped return my scalp to a healthy condition, after I was overseas in a bad climate; and changed styles, to create new looks, as I traveled throughout the country. Check her out. I love my hair and that was my first time going and everyone in the shop was very nice and I can’t really remember the young ladies name that did my hair but she took me in with short notice and I really appreciate it that I think her name was AYNNA I hope I got it right but thank you so much and enjoy your trip and have a safe one

So the lady that I had was so unprofessional number one number 2 I ask for half n half down as it was my bday the next day ..she really give me a lil bun on the top of my head then number 3 when I ask her if she can fix it later that night watch I really didn't have time to come on my bday back to la but I was willing to bc I needed my hair to be fix ..at frist she was cool then the next day my bday she say I didn't even pay her the right amount ...when she give 135 quote n ask for 25 deposit n that will go into the cost..so the day of my appointment I give her 130 thinking I'm giving her more bc I give her the deposit ..she no it 165 but when I show her what she told me in texts she didn't want refix her mess up told me she didn't care n find someone to do lol.so she telling me I have to pay someone even more money to fix sum she did ...worst experience I ever had
