I love my JMicheals Salon experience. Being a traveler, from Ohio, I postpone any hair needs till I get to Jonesboro. Jessi is great, cut and color are always what I ask for, great job everytime. She's my go to girl.

*Worst* experience at a salon or *any* place of business. On a Saturday, I booked a consult and color for Monday. The next day, I got a notification my apt was switched to a different stylist. They should have been called to find out if I wanted to reschedule w/ that same stylist...because I originally chose her bc she could do the technique I was looking for. So I thought, "Oh, maybe this stylist can do it, too."

So I arrive 10 minutes early for my apt, but I was surprised to see the salon was not opened until 5 minutes after my scheduled apt time.

At the front desk, I explain I had an apt w/ a certain stylist, but it had been changed to another lady. It happened to be the lady at the front desk. She didn't greet me in any way you would at a salon. I had never been a customer there before, so it was quite a "greeting."

From this point on, the two ladies in the salon low-blowed the stylist I had been originally booked with, (she had called in to say she wasn't coming), the same woman who I met in person that Sat. to book. If you're going to bad-mouth a stylist, at least do it to someone I didn't want to work with.

And come to find out, the stylist my apt. was switched to didn't do the technique I had booked the color for. I went ahead with other color options anyway.

The 2 stylists went back and forth, openly criticizing her financial affairs and her as an employee, and how dirty the salon was. Manager anywhere?

And the stylist insisted one of the stylists stole her 3 hair clips... Went on about it for *10 minutes* before the hair session began. My hair hadn't been touched, and I was already concerned about my choice of salon.

The bottle of color ran out when there was still a section left to do. And the stylist said she'd have to go to the beauty supply to get another bottle. Acted like that was so normal. I was horrified. Never in my life has this happened w/ a stylist... didn't even happen when my cosmetologist mother did my hair at home as a child. The idea of this happening was unfathomable until this experience.

Thankfully, she ended up finding another opened bottle. I know color can stay on hair for a while... but that would have been so scary, as a client.

And to ice the "professionalism" cake, I was told to "feel free to smoke..." while my color was processing. I got home and had to rewash my hair to get the color out. It was all over my scalp.

Service was great, cut was ok but the style wasn't really good. The curls just didn't last and didn't have enough product to hold it. Also my bangs were left too long they should have been cut an inch or so shorter. Basically paid $50 dollars for an ok hair cut. I really did like the service though and maybe they don't have much experience with my length and texture, so going somewhere else next time I need a style.

Mid August 2022 after contemplating for a month, I decided it was time (after 3 years) to cut off my waist length fine textured hair . I asked Natalie for a bob length between my jawline and shoulders. After shampoo/rinse, showed her a picture of desired cut. Natale did such a good job. It falls right back into place when styling at home with very little effort. Kudos to Natalie. Have gotten many compliments.

Great service, got me in a seat with reasonable timing. My stylist was very nice. My hair turned out amazing, and she even put it in an updo so could wear it to work with no problems. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be going back next time I need my hair done.
