Went through hell just trying to reach the clinic, then they put me on hold and never came back to the call. ? Also, their pharmacy is horrifyingly slow and the lack of attention to the patients is concerning. Ended up waiting three hours for a medication because the lady never put my number back in the cue. Then when they finally called me back up, they didn't even have the medication; and this was only the first time I ended up waiting three hours or more. It happend TWO more times after that.

Every time I go, all my nurses are nice and very attentive. The doctors are supper nice and explain everything in detail. They will make sure I get the right treatment for my condition.

I've lived in Colorado Springs a little over a decade and what I gathered from my personal experience with this clinic is that its been a generally positive experience. My kids and I are military dependents and now live off post. I'm able to get referrals to see specialty physicians off post. I get phone call reminders of up coming appointments. They followed federal mandates to keep everyone safe. Receptionists are happy to see me when we arrive on time or 5 minutes late. Also, they are willingly happy to reshedule my appointments and they have rescheduled many, on the phone and in person. They have a pretty good DFAC dining facility if you want to grab a bite to eat.
Yes, it's not a perfect operation. But, nothing ever is. Federal funding cuts closed down a nearby family clinic off of Union Blvd. Which was close to my house. The laboratory is experiencing a labor shortage but so is everyone. And making appointments seem to extend into the next month or quarter. But, the doctors listen to me and try to accommodate me the best they can. So, I can recommend...wait. this is a government facility catering to service members, dependents, retirees, and DoD civilians. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

Never answers a call. Doesn’t answer or send things to the right pharmacy.

Wait time is inevitable. People without an ounce of patience should just use the mail order prescriptions. I’ve had nothing but honest, kind and great customer service at this pharmacy for the past 7-8 years. Maybe others that rate this pharmacy one star need thicker skin.

Drs and nurses are great! But pharmacy (emergency one which located underground) is the worst. I'd been waiting for 1hr, then pharmacist told me "I don't know how long it will take, why don't you go somewhere and come back one hour later?" , then she "shooed" me. I've never met such a rude person in my life.
Then I came back to the pharmacy one hour later, she just said "The instructions are on the label. Bye!"
No explanation of side effects or dosage, nothing!! Nothing!!
Before I asked her these questions, she immediately vanished to the backside. Unbelievable.

Great medical care! But HORRIBLE reception clerk. I had an appointment with Dr. Overbeek at the Ivy Clinic, and both she and the nurse, Yesenia, were awesome! They were personable, patient, and knowledgeable, and both actually listened and didn't try to steamroll over my concerns, which is rare in military healthcare! Dr. Overbeek was thorough and really took the time to consider what the problem was and how to approach treating it. Seriously, she's a great PCM! The pharmacy also wasn't as bad time-wise or personnel-wise as Evans' main pharmacy, so that was a plus.
And now the bad. I generally hate leaving poor reviews for people because I 100% understand that people sometimes just have off or bad days, however, this seemed more like a general attitude problem than an off day. The African American woman with long hair at the Ivy Clinic check-in desk was -awful-. It was my first time ever coming to the clinic, and I asked her a simple question, to which she condescendingly and coldly responded. Great first impression. She also asked me something during check-in, and I asked a follow-up question to clarify what she meant, to which she just glared at me and didn't respond. She was also cold and dismissive with the other patients I saw her interact with. Having someone like that working with people who are possibly feeling awful physically and/or mentally when they come in is a very questionable choice by the hospital, and she's a very misleading introduction to the care the clinic offers.

This is the worst pharmacy I have every had to deal with. They have the worst people working the windows who thank that you must bow to them. I have been going here for over thirty years because I am retired and have to go here to get my Tricare benefits. I have had a hard time more than once. Its not all of them but a few makes all look bad. They seam to hire the wort people with not customer skills at all.
I will try again but then move to the Airforce base to get my Med from now on.
