My bridal party and I all had our hair done at International Hair Design on my wedding day, and they did such an amazing job.

I worked especially with Maria, who I had seen for a consultation and then the hair trial beforehand. I looked forward to seeing her everytime since she's just so great and easy to talk to.

She also did an amazing job. Seriously, I feel like I abstractly described to her what I was envisioning, and the final product was 10 times better than my imagination. I was so impressed and happy with the result.

My bridesmaid and my mom and mother-in-law all looked so gorgeous too after working with the other girls. I would highly, highly recommend International Hair Design for any big event, like a wedding, prom, or a big dance. They're amazing!!!

I've been seeing this salon for a while now, tbh I thought they were more catered towards womens haircut and styles, for events and stuff. I had Karl did a skin fade, and it's pretty good. He's gonna talk to you and try to understand what you want. And as the usual move to new barber, the longer you go there, the more familiar they get to your hair/head/style. I will definitely be back and highly recommend you should try them. Salon is pretty nice as well, clean, and I like Karl work station. It feels more reserved. 👍

A SHOUTOUT TO JULIA, my wonderful Stylist and Colorist!
Earlier this summer I had some unexpected health issues that landed me in a situation where I wasn't able to wash my hair for more than a week.
The people that saw me every day couldn't stop commenting about what a great head of hair I have! How well this particular hairstyle, cut, color n' highlights I had that in their opinions continued to hold up unbelievably well the entire time.
That is a testament to Julia's expertise as a highly experienced and trained professional Master Artist!

I've had an appointment with Kimmy today. After so many years without seeing anybody,I was really nervous but excited at the same time to meet my hairstylist. Kimmy was on time and really sweet and welcoming! She heard me, she totally understood what type of hair I wanted and how I wanted it. She did magnificent and I honestly feel like a new person with my short haircut. She was really friendly and I couldn't have had a better experience than this. The salon was really clean and really modern.
So glad I decided to come here!

International Hair Designs is a wonderful salon. I have been a customer for 35 years! Dawn the salon owner is my stylist and always does a great job. I have had my hair styled for special occasions and most recently Julia gave me a Keratin Treatment (a blowout), which I loved. If you have curly hair, you must try it. They always keep up with the latest trends and products. Fantastic Salon!!

I've been coming to International Hair Designs for over 15 years. Irina is absolutely wonderful and does a great job with my waxing needs. She is kind and knowledge with all skin related topics (and a great ear to listen about your life 🙂 ). Maria is the one and only for my hair. She is a master at coloring and many many people have told me they didn't know I color my hair 🙂 She is a great stylist as well as a great person! The salon as a whole is relaxing and welcoming- I love my salon 🙂

When my family moved to the area, I started with Chris at International Hair many years ago as a new client because she had an opening. I moved out of the area to the western suburbs, but I travel to Lake Zurich to get my hair styled for over fifteen years with Chris. I make the trip every 5-7 weeks. It is well worth my time and money. Many people compliment me on my layered bob. Chris always asks me how the haircut grew out during the month and if I have any concerns. Reviewing how things went during the month help me leave with the best haircut.
The salon atmosphere is professional and efficient. My appointment is timely and I appreciate that because of my busy schedule. I recommend trying International Hair Designs if you are looking for a salon that has experienced stylists that want you to leave satisfied.

I started going to International Hair Designs when I moved here about 8 years ago. The staff is so friendly and inviting. After my initial stylist moved away, I started seeing Julia. She's been fantastic. She's so sweet and knows how to work with my naturally curly hair. She also makes great suggestions when I'm trying to figure out something new to do with my hair. Always does a GREAT job!
