This place was right down the street and was a blessing when I moved to Chickamauga, the cut was always right on time and always fast and extremely affordable and then they closed location after only a year of me moving to Chickamauga and I was disappointed because I really enjoyed them. So I had to go to other barber shops far away 7-10 miles plus to get a decent cut and I was paying DOUBLE what these local folks charged but I made due. Well fast forward 4 years and a friend told me they opened in Rock Springs just 3 miles down the road so I quickly dropped in today and it was the same smiling faces and quick service for much cheaper that anywhere else … I’m so glad I found HillTop Barber Shop because I’m a customer for life !!!

Arrived at the shop on Thursday 01/18/24 and parked near the entrance. Another car pulled in beside me and a man and his teenager cut in front of me to get in the door before me.Since I am 80 years old it was not difficult for them to win that race. An elderly handicapped man was just finishing up and the 2 people who had cut me off, went back to the barbers chair. Neither the man or the barber made any reference to the fact that I was there first. I helped the handicapped old man put his coat on and left . I have never experienced such rudeness since I have lived in the south. Since the Hilltop Barbershop had just raised their price I'm guessing they only want to cut hair for their friends.

People walked in after we did and would go before us. I personally believe they need to take names so that people aren't wasting 30 minutes waiting just to not be serviced. I walked out.

Jackie Smith Knight is the best hair gal i know. She did an awesome sauce job on hair and my husband too. I highly recommend her ,plus she is affordable too. If you need a look she's your gal.

Larry and the other lady did a great job cutting my hair. I have been here twice now. I can tell they got much experience. Larry used a straight razor to thin my thick hair and shave my neck. No cuts! He didn't knick my ears with his shears either. He trimmed my eyebrows and used a relaxing hot rag on my head, and brushed me with some powder. It was reasonably priced. I was very pleased on how my hair looked. I will be back again.

Great prices for a great haircut. Jackie and Larry are awesome! I'm going to be going here myself soon. Jackie doesn't do the fancy styling stuff afterward, but if you want a great cut at a great price, this is the place.

Friendly atmosphere the way a barbershop used to be; no frills, just a really good haircut at a reasonable price. Jackie really took the time to listen and cut my hair the way I wanted it to be cut. Great experience.
