Woo hoo! I made an appointment for a haircut at Head Smart salon while I was in Brooksville. Laura took one look at my hair, knew what I needed, and she took time to listen to what I wanted. I walked out with a great cut, looking and feeling much better than when I walked in. The price was right, too! Thank you, Laura! See you next time I'm in the area!

Passed this little salon on my way to Fantasic Sams with my daughter. I needed a redo with my hair and my daughter wanted a trim and her eyebrows done. After passing Head Smart I went right over to Google reviews to see how they were rated and after reading all but good reviews and seeing Steven's name pop up a few times, I figured why not give a new place a shot. Upon walking in my daughter and I were greeted right away, the owner came by us to sit down and go over everything we wanted to do.

Since my daughter only wanted a layered trim, the owner took her right to her seat to get started because she was leaving and was able to squeeze her in before she did, however everything my daughter wanted done she was told 'no', which was fine to a point, she asked about getting her eyebrows done, it was a 'no you don't have enough hair to pull up', she asked about dying her hair it was a 'no' your to 'pale' for that color, rather than just recommending another color. I get it, the owner was going by her opinion and her experiences, but being told 'no' time after time without really being educated onto exactly why, probably would've made my daughter a little more comfortable being in her chair.

I on the other hand had a bit more of a pleasurable experience. I was greeted by Steven, and taken to his seat, we had a mini consult, he asked me so many questions, gave me so many different ideas, that I just ended up instilling my trust in that man to do a fine job and low and behold Steven didn't just do a fine job, Steven did a phenomenal job on my hair. I cant say that I ever had a hair cut that I was in 'wow' over, or how many times I've gotten my hair highlighted, low lighted, dyed, cut, layered etc. it just seemed nobody could get it right. I must say that it was my very first time having a gentleman do my hair and I couldn't be any more impressed by the time and the effort he put into everything.

Steven also does the best eyebrows, I inquired with him about my daughter and if he can do them as she patiently waited for me to get my hair done, as my hair was processing he took her over to do them and once again another phenomenal job, nobody has ever taken the time to do such an intricate job on our eyebrows before. He's an asset to the business and will continue to be an asset anywhere he goes. I dont think anyone else will ever get my hair the way Steven has done it. Thank you so much, I feel I owe this man everything for the way he made me and my daughter feel walking out of there last night. I finally found my stylist!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first visit at Head Smart Salon. I had the pleasure of having Laura cut my hair which was in desperate need. She did a fantastic job! She was very pleasant and professional and I felt very comfortable at this salon. I highly recommend this place.

James is a miracle worker and so kind. My hair is curly and grey and uncooperative but he whips my hair into shape. I have followed him to this salon. Great hairstylist and kind person.

I absolutely adore my hair! Jana did an AMAZING JOB.. The color turned out beautiful and my cut is gorgeous! I 100% would recommend Head Smart. All the Stylists are nice & experienced. They all had great clientele while I was there. It is very clean & Jana offered me something to drink after she applied the color, which was very nice! I was so worried because my hair use to healthy, but after box coloring, changing box brands, getting highlights, back to box coloring etc I fried my hair. It was dry, breaking, and looking ugly. Plus my thyroid was removed 6 years ago & anyone on that life sentence medication knows about the hair issues you can have... I just love it.. I'll drive from Pasco every 6 weeks just to go to my new Hair Salon...

I had a wonderful first experience at Head Smart. I was a walk in and Steven took me in immediately. My hair was fried from overbleaching. I brought some photos and Steven was able to give me some sound advice and created a wonderful cut and style for me. He also expertly waxed and shaped my eyebrows. I will be returning for future trims and styling and highly recommend Steven. He was very professional, articulate and a lot of fun too.

I am a customer of Jana’s at Head Smart! I appreciate her patience so much, I have a service dog and she is always too happy to work around him even when he invades her work space. She always cuts and colors my hair just perfectly! The salon is always clean and their prices are very reasonable! All of the employees at Head Smart are fantastic! Friendly and fun, its truly a fun salon experience every time we are there! I highly recommend Jana and Head Smart Salon!
