I have been attending Grand Canyon Family Medicine for over 10 years. I have always been treated with dignity and respect. I have been able to see my Dr., Dr. Tognacci, every single time, unless on vacation, but all Dr. I have seen take the time to sit with you and discuss your health.

Had 4 no show on appointments and they dropped me. 2 of which I was never notified and they gave me no sort of warning of this policy or warnings that I was getting close to this. The majority of the front of house staff looks annoyed that your even there or that you call. Definitely would not go here given the choice. They don't call you or no reminders of any appointments

These young Ladies and young men are some of the finest people you will ever meet. Dr. McCarthy, Ephraim Temple, including the front staff treat you with respect as well as are friendly and very kind. They all listen to your concerns, helping you as much as possible. They are truly a Blessing upon Blessings ?❤️

You will never see Dr T, nothing but amateur nurse practitioners.
This entire group of clowns care nothing about your health. The only thing they care about is your is your insurance money and co-payments. They are cold as ice and don't care if you don't like it either. If you want quality health care? This is Hell. Any other medical facility is better.
If you need prescription refills, such as Blood Pressure medication? Or prostrate meds so you can urinate? good luck.
If you are late on paying something as ridiculous as a $50 office visit? They will shut down your prescription renewals.
THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU LIVING OR DYING.

I have been going to Grand Canyon family medicine for approximately a year-and-a-half now. Not only do I love seeing Dr Ephraim Temple. I have always been treated very nicely and with respect from the office staff in the main building. I want to say I have dealt with Jennifer the most. She has been so kind and helpful and goes up and beyond. I want to thank all of the office staff for being so very sweet and helpful.

Do not come here. Annie Hart is rude and unprofessional. She has horrible bed side manner. For a nurse practitioner you think she would want to help people instead of being frustrated by their symptoms/allergies. The response time from other office staff is incredibly delayed. The office manager tried to accommodate me but he failed to apologize for Annie's rudeness. They were not willing to help unless I paid for ANOTHER office visit when I already went and had bloodwork. This office has gone downhill since they lost Sara Kneuss. They do not care about losing patients and I strongly reccomend finding help elsewhere. I'm only 31 and I had trouble getting help from this office. I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone my grandparent's age who do need additional assistance because they WILL NOT HELP. They failed to provide quality care.

They wouldn’t refill a medication that I’ve taken for two years and said I needed an appointment to have it refilled. I attempted to schedule an appointment online and nothing was available for months. I emailed them to let them know, so someone called to schedule me a physical. My insurance includes one physical per year. When I showed up they called my appointment a med check and charged me $100 and claimed there wasn’t enough time for a physical. Seems like a deceptive technique to get money out of your patients. Now I have to come back and waste more time to get a physical. Better yet, time to find a new doctor’s office.

I went here last year and saw DrMcCarthy. I brought my partner with me the first few visits, because I had been having bad luck with doctors. When I went by myself because I had extreme acne and severe swelling, she called me a hypochondriac and told me that she couldn't see my acne. I told her it was because I was wearing a lot of make up to cover it up.

She suggested I go back on meds that were literally causing me extreme health issues, like dystonia and amnesia among other things, because I have a misdiagnosis in my chart. I said I likely have adult autism, and as a woman, it presents differently. She said she "didn't have time for this" and that she "had other patients".

It turns out, I had fungal acne, and antibiotics make that worse, you need an anti-fungal medication. I also do have heart failure, and I'm getting a new valve this coming winter.

I was brushed off, talked down to, dismissed, and then told "I don't have time for this, there are other patients waiting", after being called a hypochondriac. Medications will not work for me because autism is a sensory processing disorder, not a mental illness.

0/10 experience.

Not to mention when they tried to make me pay twice for insurance, and I said that they were reading their own screen wrong, as I didn't have secondary insurance.

If you have a serious health issue you're worried about, I wouldn't go here. If you're generally healthy, maybe this place is perfect for you.

Edit: it's been two years, i did have autism. No help from her though. Also, i received my valve replacement. I had been dying for EIGHT YEARS and this doctor kept telling me to "drink more water". I had edema and that advice caused more harm than good. Drowning in your own fluids and not being believed by doctors is absolutely horrific and if I knew what i know now, i would report her for medical malpractice, failure to diagnose, and being condescending with an unwelcoming attitude.
