All employees are friendly and I always feel welcome going to Exotic Nails in Townsend. Many colors to choose from! I now get the color dip done! Prices are great. Kyo spends lots of time making sure your nails are done to perfection! I only have Kyo do my nails, but all the other employees do a great job also. Have been a customer of Exotic Nails since they opened in Pepperell around 20 years ago and now are located in Townsend. Maybe 3 times I went to a closer place from where I live but never was happy! Always returned to Exotic Nails.

BLACK LATINAS LIVES MATTER TOO!!
Yesterday I had an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience at this nail salon. I am coming regularly, so I called a day before for an appointment at 10 am, first thing in the morning . A nail technician (Susan) was there, confirmed my appointment, asked me to sit and was going to start my nail.

When 3 white American women apparently with no previous appointment came in . The nail technician left right away, asked them what she could helped them . She came over me and just pushed me away , with no reasonable explanation. When I questioned her why she wasn't doing my nails anymore, she just smiled and walked away, probably didn't understand what I said.

I felt very disrespected, apparently 3 white American women are more important than a black Latina woman.

Luckily another professional nail technician helped (Layne) helped. At that point I had no choice another nail salon , I had a wedding to attend and I needed my nails done . I will never step my feet in this place anymore.

Lanie is amazing with everything she does! Such a sweetheart and gives me the most beautiful nails every single time (that last forever!) A nice looking salon as well with a cozy environment.

Friendly atmosphere and very welcoming! Offered heated neck wrap as an additional bonus during my pedicure. If I’m ever back in town, I would definitely come back.

I have had my nails done here many times. And can’t complain. Last time I went I had someone I had no seen there before. Cut my fingers twice to the point where they bled and did not even attempt to clean it. Used the brush to dust off debris with blood still on my fingers. Very unsanitary. Dug way too deep on one of my big toes. It got infected and now I’m on antibiotics. $124 for a dip mani and gel pedi. Plus a primary doctors office visit. Would be very careful with which tech you see.

The building was clean and some of the staff were friendly. One lady was yelling at my daughter after SHE cut my daughter’s nails too short. Then when we went to go pay it cost $175 for an acrylic refill and fill set!!! They charged us $20 just to have a French manicure painted on. I will never go back and do not recommend anyone else goes there unless you like paying for overpriced nails that are subpar quality.
