I went into the ER on a Monday night, I was having an arthritis episode in my knee! I couldn’t walk, my husband had to carry me. I was crying and in excruciating pain I have ever felt! I’m 65 years old and the ER doctor there took my foot and forced it up to the back of my leg, I was screaming, begging him to stop and he wouldn’t! My husband was saying , she is in pain, she don’t cry over anything, that’s how bad I was hurting, the doctor was very unconcerned, just kept pushing!! I was screaming, literally!! Finally he stopped , said here’s a shot and some pills to take and get to an Orthopedic Doctor. And said go home!! All they can do there is X-rays which he never offered. The nurse was very rude!! The receptionist was very nice.
I will never go there again unless it’s life threatening, and then only to get stable and go somewhere else! They both acted like I was bothering them! I just have never been treated so bad in my life!! I was there on a Monday night around 6:30 pm, you can look up and see who was working, by my name, that evening and maybe you will see a pattern of the doctor and nurse that night! Ridiculous service!!

We came into the emergency room due to my husband having a dangerously low temperature at home. We were spoke to very rudely by the nurse that came into our room and treated as if we were stupid, the doctor had no idea what tests the nurses has already taken, my husband was told not to cover up with a blanket due to his high fever when he did not have a high fever he had a low temp and was shivering violently, and sitting inside our patient care room we could hear the hateful nurses gossiping about patients. Something needs to be done about the morning shift. Next time we are in need of an emergency room we will be making the hour drive to Mountain Home.

I have been in there three times and all three times the bedside manner of doctor William Baker is not theworld's greatest. Each time I had a different problem he just got meaner to me. Let alone he comes into a patience room with chewing tobacco sticking out his bottom lip. Correct me if I am wrong but the last time I checked hospitals are and always have been a tobacco free place. I don't recommend this place to anyone else. I would much rather sit in the truck with my husband and uncle and drive the hour and half to two hours to a different hospital than ever return to this place. I don't care how much pain I am in I would do it just so I could have a doctor with better beside manners and doesn't dip.

I went to white river emergency room this morning. I must have gotten a different crew than some of these other reviewers had. I had a great bunch of nurses and the doctor (Dr Sra) was very good as well. I appreciate everything they done for me this morning.

The nurses in the back will talk about their patient, their mom, and their dead father and laugh about personal situations even when you're in earshot.. Heavily violate HIPPA laws and I don't understand why this is even a facility. Horrible uneducated, un-sympathetic, and unprofessional bafoons are working at the urgent care facility. I'd rather sit here with my broken knuckle that was smooshed than to ever go back there. Save yourselves, literally and don't go here.

I forgot to mention. The doctor on duty rolled her eyes when she talked. I overheard her saying that she hates having to wait two minutes before retrying narcan on someone whose overdosing on fentanyl, made a comment to other nurses about them being blue in the lips and they all were just having a casual conversation about patients and laughing about it. Total disregard for human life. Or hand in my case.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! MAKE THE DRIVE TO MOUNTAIN HOME!! Doctor working in the ER last night a little after midnight ( I was told his name is Smith but I believe that's a lie ) was THE ABSOLUTE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN. In my lifetime I have dealt with many many doctors. This man was the most unprofessional, rude, jerk that I have ever met. He did NOT listen to anything I said, made multiple assumptions about me and treated me like a toddler but without the compassion you would show a child. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I RETURN TO THIS FACILITY.

Limited experience. Suggest it be renamed Urgent Care. ER could be misleading for many. My brother was in nursing home and stopped breathing. They got him on oxygen and quickly provided testing. Transferred to WRMC in Batesville which in truth did not give him time to call him stabilized. Shoveled back to Ash Flat and within a few hours was "unresponsive". He passed, but likely not the fault of Highland. They appeared to be ding the best they could. I see most of the serious criticisms are from 3-5 years back.

I just want to start off with I have had the best experience I have ever had at an ER. I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to any doctor and I couldn't have felt more comfortable. I also don't have the best luck with getting ivs and one of the nurses named Adam got it on the first try and talked me through everything! Will definitely go back and a huge shout out to Adam!!!!
