Frustrated by my attempts to qualify for health care-covered Ozempic, my Doc told me about Derma Luxe — and 32 pounds and counting I am so grateful for the referral. I needed a jump start on weight loss and this was more than i had hoped for. I had given up on being my weight of a decade plus ago and had donated my ‘skinny’ jeans weeks before starting.

The Doc check-ins are short and sweet and address any concerns i have along the way. They each plant seeds to think about healthier choices ( exercise, food intake) to complement the ongoing weight loss.

Everyone is kind at Derma Luxe. I couldn’t be happier that I am getting my old body back with the help of this team.

I have struggled with my weight since the late 90s. In my younger days I was an actress, and I was always thin. I was put on a medication that caused me to gain over 100 pounds - constantly hungry. Later, I went off the medication but was only able to lose 50 of it. I worked tirelessly, tracking every calorie in and out. In 2023, at age 54, I decided I was going to try semaglutide. I felt guilty - like I was cheating. But two of my doctors (both women) said I deserved to feel good about myself and my primary care physician recommended Derma Luxe because she knows one of the physicians. It was seriously the best thing I ever did. I lost 45 pounds, and have no more food noise. I did not realize how much I was thinking about food before. It cut my cravings for sweets and for snack foods. I have maintained my weight and am getting a low dose shot every 10 days now. Every appointment you meet with a doctor to discuss any side effects and dosing, and are injected by a nurse. I didn't have any side effects. What I did have was the sudden realization that I had been living with "food noise" for a very long time, and it is so incredibly freeing to no longer have it. I have seriously never felt this good about myself. I am just not as hungry, and I don't eat as much. And what I crave is healthier. It is incredibly freeing. My advice would be that if you are thinking about it, this is a safe place to try semaglutide. I'm really glad I did :). The pictures show the before and after.

Cannot say enough good things about Derma Luxe and my experience with Semaglutide. I had terrific results, 40 lbs weight loss and then I was able to successfully keep the weight off with a very deliberate taper off plan! I loved having the checkins with the doctors, Dr. Aronwald, Dr. Heilenbach, and Dr. Laskaris, and I found their assistance to be so helpful as I experienced different symptoms over the 9 months. I feel very fortunate to have had such a dedicated team help me reach my goals!

I had the fractional laser done on my face and neck. Jennifer Anton and Erin Bruce were patient, gentle, and seemed very experienced. I can’t wait to go back to this beautiful and relaxing office for my next treatment.
