Derby is one of the top barbers I’ve been to in years. I hadn’t found a consistent spot to go until I stopped in shortly after he opened up this shop in New Milford and I’ve been a customer ever since. He’s a wonderful guy. He created a very welcoming atmosphere within his shop and his kind, friendly demeanor accentuates that as well. He is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable barber. In my opinion, the best haircut (and beard trim) in the area.

Started going here almost a year ago and have been extremely happy with each hair cut. Chris is a friendly barber that takes pride in his shop and each cut. Great music is always playing and the reservation system is super easy. Highly recommend

Visiting for the week and needed a haircut for a wedding. I got the best high fade of my life. I live near a marine corps base where all the barbers do fades all the time. None of them compare to the quality of haircut that was given to me here. Great service, highly recommend. I will be coming back whenever I am in the area again!

Chris’s story and the five star reviews are what got me to step foot in the door. I can honestly say that Chris backs up his story and reviews - the vibe when I walked in was super positive and Chris did an amazing job cutting my hair when I didn’t even really know what I wanted. I left his shop looking my best - so congratulations Chris on running a top Notch Barber shop / P. S. Chris renting out Barber seats to give other barbers the chance that he was giving to build their own business only shows what type of person he is. Very cool keep it up!

Chris is the best in the business for this area, hands down. He was friendly, approachable and highly professional during the time I was given my haircut. He is also extremely skilled in what he does and takes the extra time to perfect every cut he works on. Not only that, the facility is kept very clean and has a sleek, modern look on the interior. When I first started going to Derby the barber I did service work as an electrician. I had let my beard and hair go for quit some time and looked a bit , let’s say seasoned, into the winter months. On more than one occasion new customers thought I was poorly and knocking for help. That’s when I decided to visit derby the barber!
The online appointment was easy for me to schedule and the cuts and trims are always on point. Nicest people in world ? recommend!
