I highly recommend Denistry by Design. I moved to this area 2 years ago and I feel so lucky to have found this dentist office. The Staff, and office management are the best ! I compare it to all my 50 years of going 2 and 3 times to various dental offices as I have moved quite a lot. From the moment I entered the office I was treated with kindness and caring and professionalism by the office staff Elma and Kelly. I didn't have to wait. They were all set up and ready for me.
Dr Wheeler was thorough and explained the process. He was also very "picky" about the new denture from the lab and went over all of the small problems he found. I love that he is picky. It means that my final product will be as close to perfect as possible. I have complete confidence in Dr. Wheeler and feeling so lucky I have this great team of professionals taking care of my dental needs.

My first visit. It took me a while to decide to make an appointment as I don’t like going to a new dentist. I won’t hesitate again. From beginning to end it was a good experience. Friendly, clean, and not intimidating in any way. Leah was my hygienist and was gentle but thorough. The Dr was very kind. No hesitations at all to return.

The entire staff went the extra mile to make sure I understood what was involved in getting a crown. Dr Laos made me very comfortable during the whole procedure. The front staff worked with my insurance to keep my costs down. I was very pleased with the experience.

Dr. Wheeler, Saydie and the entire office made me feel welcome and worked tirelessly to make my tooth better. Very friendly staff, immaculate surroundings and I was never rushed as my procedure took way more time than anyone would have expected but Saydie made sure I was comfortable and Dr. Wheeler never gave up on my progress.

When you move from out of state, it’s always difficult to find new doctors and dentists. So far the experience in Tucson has not been great. However, this changed on my recent trips to Dentistry by Design. Dr. Laos and his team were professional, competent and friendly from start to finish . Starting with the reception I received by the front desk it was all smiles and professionalism.
Leah, the hygienist was gentle, thorough, professional, and friendly. Doctor Laos is highly competent, professional and communicative. He kept me informed every step of the way and I was involved in all the decisions. My new crown feels amazing just like the original! Kelly, the dental assistant did an excellent job, friendly, attentive, and professional. I am glad to have found a new dental team! Thank you!

I very rarely complete online reviews but I’m compelled to do so regarding my first visit to this office. I was so happily surprised and impressed with everyone in the office and their kind, caring, and thorough treatment I received. Every step was explained to me and Dr Lao took the time to show me problem areas using digital camera. My dental hygienist was amazing and I’m sorry I can’t recall her name but she was thorough and listened to my concerns/questions. I’m so happy I found this hidden gem. I feel I can trust them and I’m in good hands. Ty!

My new patient appointment with Dr Wheeler went fine. However, I was also scheduled to have my teeth cleaned, and I was informed that the hygienist was out sick that day. My cleaning then had to be rescheduled, and I was not able to get an appointment until two months later! It doesn't seem right that I have to wait two months for a cleaning when I showed up for my scheduled appointment and the hygienist wasn't there.
