Beautiful place in the woods. Quite a long, winding drive on small roads from Dahlonega. We stayed in a cabin. It was fairly cute and the parking was 20 feet away. They seemed to go out of their way to have as little contact with you as possible. Everything was done digitally and we never saw an employee. ||Pros: nice bedding, very clean, good heat/ac, huge tv, lots of free tea and coffee, quiet and peaceful. The resort looks very upscale. The main plantation style inn is gorgeous. The grounds are very beautiful.||Cons: no light near coffee station & table, no luggage rack or hanging closet, no coat hooks, cheap bathroom finishes (plastic sink/vanity top, plastic shower surround, vinyl floors), low children's size toilet, cold bathroom floor.||We didn't eat in their dining room but it looked lovely... and expensive. $21 for a 2 egg with bacon breakfast plate. Coffee extra charge.||All in all, I think you are paying for the resort, not the room. The room is overpriced once they tack on almost $90 in extra fees.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Gorgeous views. Staff was very nice and we practically had the place to ourselves the week of Christmas. Be advised that they book rooms during that time but the restaurant and winery are closed. We thought they would at least be open the 23rd and 24th. They provided free snacks, coffee, bottles of water, and some breakfast items. We will definitely return again!

Just got back from our wedding hosted at Dahlonega Resort! We had the most amazing experience and the most magical wedding! The staff members were friendly & communicated well. They went out of their way to make us feel special, even gifting us an engraved wine bottle! The views were spectacular & the venue is so cozy! Our guests absolutely loved it! We are so thankful for this quaint lovely venue!

Date with my wife. Massage was fantastic! Dinner with Chef Dave was fantastic. Staff were so welcoming. And I gotta say the locally sourced mushrooms and Microgreens were amazing. Cab Sav and Pino were fantastic. Looking forward to live music tonight!!

We went for a wedding that was taking place at Kaya Vineyard & Winery.
PROS: The room was & spacious enough for two. The staff was super nice and helpful when we arrived. We got in so late the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a hospitality room filled with snacks that could hold us till the next day. The wedding location was breathtaking and the weather was on point (October) The food was amazing and the servers as well as the wedding planner were on very attentive.
CONS: We stayed in room 4, the bed was a bit soft for my taste and this is where everything went south. If you are looking for peace and quiet you won't find it in this room. Every morning the music was blaring so if we had any plans on sleeping in that went out the window. Every-time someone was talking in the hallway or downstairs in the restaurant area we can hear everything in the room. The slamming of the doors became annoying literally you could feel it in the room. There was a wedding taking place one night and the music was going way past 9pm so going to bed earlier before an 11 hour drive back home went out the window as well.
Do yourself a favor and don't stay in the main house.
Try the cabin. Will we come back? I doubt it at least we won’t be staying in a main house bedroom but if looking for a beautiful wedding venue I can tell you they didn't disappoint.

It’s always hard to write these kinds of reviews but hopefully the owners/staff can use to make improvements.

Was recommended on OpenTable for a nice dinner with my husband while traveling through GA for his birthday. On a positive note the host was very kind and generous and the restaurant itself was cozy.

Unfortunately post seating things did not go as planned. It took a bit for our waiter to arrive. He seemed friendly but a bit novice of the menu and supporting allergy options. He also was quite forgetful, had to be reminded several times of things we asked for.

Then the orders. My husband and I ordered appetizers and meals but the appetizers never came. The apology we got was quite short and we didnt get comped which is customary when you don’t deliver 50% of someone entire order. The prices was still $90 and honestly the food we did get was subpar. The blandest grits which were cold. And potatoes with no flavor. I don’t even think they were salted.

It was very disappointing! I don’t think we will be back. I can’t comment on the rooms or other services since we didn’t use them.

Great views and tranquility. Everything was amazing. The food was inspired and delicious. They have insight trails and allow pets in the cabins. There are great wineries everywhere and the Dahlonega square is quaint and friendly. Bonus is that Helen is literally a 20 minute drive.

As part time residents of the Cleveland / Dahlonega area we are always looking for nearby places to have a nice "evening out". Having been spoiled by ATL's relatively polished restaurant scene, it can be a challenge to find places offering any more than North Ga's abundant natural beauty. We found the Dahlonegah Resort and Vineyard to hit on all the marks! Indeed the approach is legitimately beautiful, and if you aren't taken by it, just look over your shoulder to see a breathtaking vista of the ancient mountain range. This alone however, is almost ordinary in such a picturesque area; everything else is why I write this review. The interior (on among the first chilly nights of the fall season) was warm, bright and inviting -as was the hostess who also was our waitress. Unlike less polished establishments, she had a natural way of arriving just when we wanted something and never ever did we feel interrupted. I had the pork chop and collards on a bed of gouda grits... A perfect balance of sophistication and exquisite preparation of a classic southern-inspired dish. Genuinely delectable! The locally crafted Cabernet Franc was actually delicious. When the bill came, I felt every bit the same degree of surprise and delight...The portions were as appropriate as the price and the quality overall was absolutely top shelf... Will definitely return!
