Once again, Torrie has done a wonderful job on my hair. This time I got my hair cut and dyed. I love getting vivid colors with my hair. She’s fun and easy to talk to while my hair is getting done. I wanted more layers in my hair and I wanted a dark blue color as well. I showed her some inspiration pictures and she did exactly what I asked for.

I just moved to Peoria from Denver and have truly been on the STRUGGLE BUS trying to find a good nail salon here! I can't believe I found this place. First off, Rachel is amazing! She did an incredible job on my nails and only used a nail file to do it! She took such good care, no damage to my skin or cuticles. I'll be returning to her as "my person". But on top of this, everyone was so sweet, the salon and spa are so cute and clean, and their list of offerings range from nails, to wax, to hair, to even botox! Literal one stop shop!!

I’m HIGHLY upset with the turnout of my $350 disaster hair color at what I thought was a highly rated salon. I went in with natural colored hair (light/medium brown) and some butchered self-cut bangs. I knew there wasn’t much I could do for the bangs but I was ready for a big color change since I hadn’t had my hair done professionally in 2-3 years. I went in not knowing or minding who did my hair trusting that based on the salon name and reviews I would leave happy and feeling confident. At the start of the service, the stylist did ask me what my budget was- and knowing that hair color can get pricey and I had some pretty bold colored inspiration photos- I figured I would set the absolute max at around 300-350. In my head though, I thought if I’m paying $350 I’d better be looking like a princess when I left and instead I’m still too embarrassed to wear it out and am still hiding in a hat until I can afford to get it fixed. I never ever thought my stylist would find a way to charge me the exact amount I told her was my maximum budget and not even get my hair anywhere close to ANY of the pictures... Especially since she said my hair was really thin and that it wouldn’t take much product to cover it and it wouldn’t be that expensive. I showed a few inspo pics and she suggested one that she liked which was my least favorite of the ones I showed her(color wise). I did like the placement of the color though. I found something similar (pink/maroon and blonde pics) that she said was created using a split-dye or block-dye technique. Although I didn’t like it as much as some of the other colors, I knew with my bangs being a factor- some of the other color placements/styles wouldn’t look right….. I trusted her expertise and let her go ahead and get started. She said we would need to lighten parts of the hair to reach the blonde and then the berry/red-purple/maroon color I was looking for would cover my natural brown I came in with… After we rinsed the color and dried my hair- it looked like the first pic she suggested that I told her I didn’t like (a copper/bronze) so she suggested we re-color to try and achieve that berry/burgundy at no cost. My apt was at 3, I had been there 5 hours and the salon was technically closed at 8- so we weren’t going to be able to do anything else plus the stylist mentioned her mom had just flown to town and was waiting on her. At that point I was already running late to work and the rest of the staff was leaving so she added a few curls and I paid my $350 and headed out….. as soon as I got to the car I freaked out. After going 3 years without paying for my hair I finally decided to splurge and I was horrified at what my hair looked like as well as the price tag. I called the next day to follow up and just see what we could do and they admitted they didn’t feel like the blonde was toned or lighted enough and that they would lighten it for me at no cost but the blonde wasn’t the problem. the fact we never achieved the original color, the “bang shaping” didn’t take place, and they rang up services on the receipt I DID NOT RECEIVE! on the receipt I was charged additionally for “highlights” even though there were none. My hair was split into quadrants and had 2 simple colors. Un-toned blonde and this weird brown with tints of red. After calling and asking for a breakdown of my receipt, I was told I was charged appropriately and that the highlights were because of the lightener used for the 2 blonde sections. YET, I was charged additionally for “toner” THEN was charged for “extra color” for additional ounces of product because my “hair is long” …. I have medium/short extremely fine hair (practically balding) and was told by the stylist it wouldn’t take much because of how fine my hair was. Also my bangs looked better when I went in… she barley took anything off (due to starting length) and attempted to thin them out but there wasn’t any difference. Plus the “extra” color was used to correct the first bad color turnout. I’m now stuck with this awkward hair color and Corpo Bello salon doesn’t care.

The salon is clean and spacious, and the stylists always have different chairs, keeping things interesting. The staff is always so caring and kind. I haven't done much else than get my hair done, but always love my time here. Highly recommend.

The service was top-notch, and I felt pampered throughout my appointment. They really pay attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was enjoyable. I left feeling rejuvenated and absolutely in love with my new look!

We used Corpo Bello for our wedding day services. Miranda and Savannah were awesome and made everything run so smoothly! Baleigh was also super helpful with planning for the day and was very responsive to any questions that came up along the way! We had a group of seven people getting hair and makeup done that morning and got through everyone with time to spare! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful!

I visited Corpo Bello for my haircut on Saturday. The hairdresser was amazing and I am more than satisfied with the result. However I was mortified by the hairbrush that had tons of hair from previous clients and to the very end I hoped she wouldn’t use it. That made me question how clean were all of the other tools used (overall it looked shabby). More than that my hair was very electrified and I thought maybe a little bit of water sprinkle would be good for a more comfortable experience (I’m not a hairdresser, so I don’t know if it is against the rules). I chose the place due to my other beauty experience and didn’t expect to see such conditions for hair services. (It’s 21’st century🙇‍♀️hygiene is a MUST) Again, this has nothing to do with the hairdresser, it’s about the management itself and the care they took of their staff and clients.
