I can’t testify to the exam or billing processes at Colorado Eye Gallery, but I can say that they provided excellent customer service on my visit. I walked in during the middle of the afternoon, no appointment, just in need of an adjustment to my frames purchased elsewhere. Tracy pleasantly welcomed me in, fairly warned me that they would not be liable in the case of any accidental damage, and quickly corrected an issue that had been missed at my optometrist at no charge. Look no further than the Colorado Eye Gallery for vision health and wellness. Making an appointment was easy. The reception team is super friendly. And the doctor (Dr. Alper) was on time, she had a great bedside manner, and she kept me educated and well informed on eye health and next steps. It can be intimidating to go visit the eye doctor but I felt at ease throughout the whole appointment. I highly recommend this practice! They have an incredible team.

Very disappointed.
We scheduled an appointment for my daughter to get contact lenses. Our drive from Lyons was about 25 minutes. Upon arrival we were first informed that our VSP benefits would not allow them to order contacts until September (a month after our appointment). Disappointing news, but we decided to push on. Then the attendant informed us that she didn't realize we were there for contact lens fitting, and would only be able to perform an eye exam at that time. She further stated that we needed to come back later that afternoon for contact lens fitting. Of course, all of this should have been disclosed PRIOR to our arrival when we made the appointment, but none of it was.

This visit was a complete waste of time. The appearance of the attendant and the condition of the office were less than confidence inspiring. I will not be returning to this facility for eye care. The only reason this review is two stars instead of one is the attendant was courteous. Otherwise, this place is a complete fail, in my opinion.

I have great insurance but this place billed in such a way that it was the most expensive eye appointment I’ve ever had and I only replaced my lenses, got fitted for new contacts, and got an eye exam. I’ve done all this and bought new frames at other places and my bill was much less expensive. When my new lenses got delivered, they had a noticeable scratch on them and had to be sent out a second time to be corrected. I would not recommend going here.

I was very disappointed. When I scheduled my appointment and again when I arrived, I clearly said all I wanted was a basic Eye Test, so I could get my over 80 Drivers License. I don't need glasses. Instead they gave me a full medical test and charged me $70. My United Health Care Insurance gives me a free annual basic test. They are in the UHC Network. but would not wait until the Claim was processed. I am not sure what will happen, but I think they over tested me to get more money. I will wait to see if UHC will help me resolve this issue.

Dr. Kaitlin Fosse gave me all the time I needed to evaluate which lens was better/worse to improve my vision as well as clearly explain the progression of my glaucoma and answered all questions thoroughly. I appreciate her professionalism and care of the "whole person". And the optician was very helpful selecting frames which would work best with my prescription and personality!

Lived around the world and she was the best I have ever been to. She explained issues and proposed the best ways to deal with them.

Unfortunately I used to really like coming to this place, and I really liked the glasses I have ordered from here! Unfortunately, I need to order safety glasses through my workplace for my job. In order to do this, I need a PD. This is not included in a prescription, so I called to try to get this value. Again, just for safety eyewear that I'm required to order through my workplace. Three phone calls later, I have been told once that it is a liability to give me my PD that is recorded during the visit, once that the PD that is recorded wasn't accurate, and once that I can come in and pay an additional $45 to get this measurement redone. So now not only can I not get my PD to get safety glasses, but now I am also worried that my normal eyewear used a bad PD as the receptionist Maddy stated this value isn't accurate. I clarified that my current glasses are ok with the manager, but unfortunately she said that they don't store a PD value when you order glasses from them. I am quite sad about this experience after my previous wonderful experiences here, but it is safe to say I will not be coming back.
