Last weekend I was traveling from out of town for a wedding. We made a stop for the night in Quincy. I went into Cherise's Salon and Apothecary. I had the best experience and had to share. I had forgotten to bring my favorite shampoo with me and was super bummed about it. I have a really sensitive scalp and new wash is the only shampoo that doesn't irritate my scalp but still leaves my hair looking great. I was so happy to be able to get some at Cherise's salon and not be with out it my whole trip. Cherise is great and was even kind enough to answer some questions I had about a friend who is having hair problems due to a health issue. I was blown away by how helpful, and kind Cherise was to me, and how lovely and intentional her space is. Highly recommend a stop in. Cherise and her Salon are a true Gem! I will absolutely be stopping in next time I am traveling through.

Best hair cut I've ever gotten. Cherish really takes the time to help you decide and design your cut, truly taking into account what YOU want. She gave me the best cut of my adult life and kept the shape while reducing the mess. I hope she never leaves Quincy because she is a treasure for this town, her store is packed with wonderful things and her energy is the sweetest! Can't wait to come back for all my haircuts?

I've got some weird anxieties around beauty shops. the smells, small talk, feeling trapped in the chair. it's been so bad that for the last 15 years I've only had my partner cut it. When Cherise moved to town I started to appreciate her talents over social media. Finally I took the plunge and made an appointment and the rest is basically history. She made me feel so comfortable in the chair, her space is free of the chemicals that often accompany salons and she even offers silent hair cuts! I've had several wonderful haircuts, and the new apothecary/ self care shop is magical. Perfectly Cherise and a perfect addition to our town!

Cherise is the best! She listens to your wants and priorities and knows how to work with the texture and shape of your hair so well. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my cuts. Cherise has been my stylist for over 15 years. We have gone through so many haircuts together--from long to very short, back to long, and now happy in the mid lengths--and I've had a blast every step of the way.
