Came in to get haircut for my mother’s funeral and was refused serviced. Was told, “ I won’t cut your hair I don’t want to.” This is moments after me saying my Ma had just died. Was offered to wait for the next guy to be done, which being next in line sure ok. I guess cause I had long hair and it would have been a little bit of work? Not sure what the reasoning was but was greatly offended by that. If you want to hang out and watch the news all day and only cut your 90 year old friend’s hair I suggest you just stay home. Waste of space downtown. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. This is also my first and only review on here. John is a decent guy and I’ve had him cut my hair a few times. But the old guy burnt me on ever going back there.

John and Mr.Chenowith are some great people. Just a small barbershop in downtown Russellville off commerce drop in for a quick haircut. Just some local guys with a barbershop downtown for 100 years or so. Lol

I have been getting haircuts at this establishment since the spring of 1976. And, only once did I have to go back for an adjustment. Mr Chenowith is the BEST barber in Pope County.

Great barber shop. Im from out of town but needed a haircut and was in the area so I stopped here. I am glad I did! The employees were very friendly. love my haircut and cheap prices too

I am a visitor from Hawaii touring by motorcycle. I found Chenowith's via a Google search. I was delighted. It was everything described and I can only add that I am extremely satisfied with the haircut and beard trim that I received, and I have to agree that the price was extremely fair.
From the time I entered the shop I was treated like I was along-time customer rather than a stranger in town. What a delightful experience.

Been using this father-son team for several years. Both do very conscientious work to make me look as good as possible! Oh well. Hey, come here for a good haircut at a good price. TV with sports too. Easy parking. If the street is full I park at the bank.
