Me and my daughter came here a few times and they did an amazing job for a good price, my daughter loved it and they did amazing job on doing cornro on her. Her hair was very tangled with huge Mats and tangles but still managed to get it out. She's very pleased and she wants to come again, I recommend going.

Well, for starters, I went to go get a keratin treatment, and this was my experience. the teacher( who Was the one to do my hair) was 25 minutes late To our appointment. Once I sat in the chair, she began To brush my hair without any form of product. And she was extremely rough. After that, she had one of her students wash my hair, but the student did a poor job.

After she was done, washing my hair, the water began to run down my face and neck and into my clothes. After that they had me sit under a dryer for about 20 minutes. After that, She began to blow dry and brush my hair, really roughly, Again, with no product in it. After that, she began to apply the keratin, But she failed to do a test on one of my hair strands to see if the product was compatible with my hair type.

Mind you I have 4C tight coiled hair. And with that, she began to make inappropriate comments about my hair texture and my ethnic background. She asked me "what is your ethnicity?”I tell her that I am Haitian and Jamaican.

Then she proceeds to say “oh that makes sense because only Haitians Have this kind of hair texture.” What exactly do you mean by that. Because last time I checked at the end of the day, I am a black woman. She tells me my scalp is really dry but she doesn’t do any kind of treatment for it. Then she made comments about my skin, mind you I have oily skin.

And then she talked about my acne. After she applied the keratin to my hair, she made me sit under a dryer once again for about 20 minutes. After that, I went back to the chair, and she proceeded to once again brush my hair, really roughly. After that, she flat iron my hair. But after she flat ironed it, my hair did not look bone straight as it was supposed to. It looked as if it was just flat ironed.

Then she proceeded to gaslight me into thinking that it was my hair texture, and it was not at all her poor Technique. I Wasted $250. For all my black women/girls out there I do not recommend you go to this beauty school. Aside from her unprofessionalism, and her poor technique. I just didn’t feel safe as a black woman.

Which is very unfortunate, considering the fact that There are not a lot of places that cater to black peoples hair in this area. And her being a black woman herself was also very disheartening.

This place is amazing, ive gotten my hair done here a few times and I have no regrets, the braiding is beautiful and I will be coming again, the girls also have conversations while doing ur hair which is a must, 100% recommend going there.

i had a braid appointment for tuesday August 1st @9 I kept calling the number they gave me on friday when i made the appointment and sad to say no one answered. when i call the front desk number they answered and tell me a whole story that i had my appointment on monday @9 and i called to cancel(i never scheduled anything on monday) once they realize they are wrong they start complaining about how late it is which i’m sorry i did get there 5 minutes late but no one answered me when i was only 5 minutes behind. Now i have senior pictures and my hair a mess. very disappointed.

Very pleased with my haircut on 2 occasions now. They offer many services like applying lashes!!! Coloring, etc. I'm very happy to find an affordable salon offering so much! No fear of students. The teacher is a master and keeps a tight rein. Sis got color and couldn't stop talking about it.
