Laura is a special person, she makes you feel welcome and comfortable while working on your feet. I think it’s unfortunate that men do not generally allow themselves to get their feet cared for. It feels as though my feet took a deep breath, had a glass of wine, and let their hair down! They feel amazing. The first thing Laura asked was, have I spent my life in boots? She nailed it! I highly recommend The Foot Refuge! Ladies, call Laura and send your husbands to see her. They’ll be thankful that you did! I even got my nails painted for Halloween, my wife loved it!

I can’t go on enough about what an amazing person Laura is. I have this stubborn toenail fungus, I have been to a podiatrist and taken meds for it, but it didn’t do anything. Laura was able to get under the nail and do her magic. My nail feels SO much better. I don’t have the pressure or pain I was having. She got all the calluses off my feet, and gave the best foot and leg rub I have ever had. I seriously feel like a new person. I don’t treat myself often to this sort of thing, but I will be going back every month to see Laura. The conversation was wonderful and I think she is an amazing person for doing the kind of service she does for this community. Do not hesitate to go see Laura to help you out, she knows what she is doing.

Laura is the best for your feet! Personable, knowledgeable, and great conversationalist. I started seeing her a couple years ago. She has taken my toes, nails and the condition of my feet to a happier place! Plus I can say with her help I have pretty feet again! I no longer experience ingrown toe nails, my feet are soft, callous free. I no longer deal with cracks in my heals. I highly recommend her.

Laura did an amazing job, and is one of the sweetest people ive met in a long time! I've always been embarrassed to get a pedicure because I have calloused soles from walking around barefoot. She made me feel comfortable and did not judge me at all. I'm no longer shy about my feet. Thank you Laura!

I see that you still do not have space to book anyone. So you didn't call to book me. Yes, I did hang up because your first sentence was "I see you gave me 3 stars! No one has ever given me less than five stars!"
Your tone was confrontational. If you had said, "I am calling to book you" and then asked if we could discuss the 3 stars, I would not have hung up.
I went through 3 exhausting rounds of chemo & don't need strangers calling to argue with me.
It is extremely odd to get a phone call from a business owner about a Yelp review.
If you click on my profile, you can read all the wonderful reviews I wrote for other businesses. Very few are low.
As I said before, my frustration is with the website booking form not working & the voicemail box being full.
My suggestion that you hire a teenager to take down phone messages wasn't mean, it was meant to be helpful.
I won't waste any more time discussing this.

My podiatrist quit working on Mondays and Tuesdays. The only days I am able to get around anywhere since I don’t drive. His assistant suggested this place. I tried calling, but the voicemail box was full. So I did a chat, which I really hate. I had booked an appointment online and got confirmation. But I never trust online bookings. So was calling to try to make sure before my husband drove me all the way. Finally got someone. She sounded kind of exasperated. Asked me if I was standing outside the building.. No, I was at home. I told her I had booked online. She countered with you and said she doesn’t answer the phone. She’s with a customer Because she doesn’t have any help. Maybe hire a teenager in the summer and for after school during school months. Pay them minimum wage just to take down phone messages? Really really hard to book an appointment.

Ever feel like you gamble when going to get a pedicure if you’ll get someone who actually does a good job? Ever feel judgment from the nail techs? Worry about picking up something gross from the foot soaks or tools that you’re not sure are properly cleaned? You won’t experience any of that here! Laura is so kind, welcoming, and great at what she does. I have received 2 of the best pedicures I’ve ever had from her and I plan on continuing on a regular basis.

I had my first ever pedicure from Laura. I always felt that pedicure was something only women had done but I was wrong and happy that I choose Laura to do my service. Amazing Experience! Laura Duncan is very knowledgeable and professional! Best pedicure I have ever had in my life! I suffer from plantar fasciitis her leg massage was phenomenal! She completely released the tight muscles in my leg. If you are looking for specialty foot care then look no further.
